  1. Trying to get the navigation to sit centered underneath the logo which is also centered in the Brine template. Bottom center ends up in the banner image. Anyone know how I can do this? Tried using secondary navigation but it goes to the same places. Image attached. Thanks in advance!
  2. Site URL: https://eleanorkerlowpr.squarespace.com/ I'm trying to hide the index background image on mobile screens only. As you can see it's interfering with readability on the phone layout. I'm been playing with custom CSS but can't seem to get the code to work where the background image assigned to that index is hidden. Any ideas? https://eleanorkerlowpr.squarespace.com/ Password: EleanorKerlowPR
  3. Hi all, I am slowly learning CSS but inevitably have problems with syntax between different themes. I'm trying to change the background color (technically an overlay in this case) for the Services section on this index page. The collection ID is 59e653fc8fd4d2e4bc8651b2, which I've tried to incorporate in various ways, but I cannot get the bloody syntax right. Sofia (Brine family) has two overlays that alternate on indexes, so sometimes if you want to change the color on one section the overlay will ruin an image on another section. I'm trying to change the color to hsla(28, 100%, 44%, 0.1
  4. Im using Sonny /Brine and we would like to make the text on the poster highlight on Hover - I have seen a few of these questions but none have useful answers for me!
  5. Site URL: https://parrotfish-asparagus-tyfd.squarespace.com/config/pages Hi all, First time poster here. I have forced the hamburger for desktop display, but don't want the menu to overlay the entire desktop screen. Do you have any suggestions for code to reduce the overlay on desktop to ~50%? Thanks
  6. Hi I have a CSS script that rotates 6 different words into a code block. The issue is it isn't mobile responsive. I have a strong feeling it is difficult because one of the words that rotates in is too long. So as a suggestion, could someone provide a tweak to this so that it displays in a fixed size in mobile. I can just tweak the size until I can get all the words in. I believe I just need to update my code block info: Here is the code block ------------- <h3> <span>Find</span> <div class="rotating-words rotating-words-1"> <span&
  7. Site URL: https://www.twowanderingsoles.com/blog/top-things-to-do-in-new-york-city Hello! I would like to insert an affiliate disclosure line of text stating "This page may contain affiliate links" above the body of every blog post body and below the page title. The text line could be below the author's name and published date (like in the screenshot attached) or below the social share icons. I know I could manually insert the text line to every blog post, but I have over 600 posts and would prefer a simpler solution. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  8. Is it possible to add a subtitle below a product title? I'd like to include the product flavour as a subtitle or sub-heading, so the user doesn't have to click on the product and go to the product details page to get this information. e.g. GOTHAM BLEND COMFORTING & RICH Is this possible with CSS? Thanks!
  9. Site URL: http://buffalobiketours.com Trying to figure out how to adjust the width of my navigation (using Foster in the Brine family). It feels constrained right now – I'm getting 3 lines of hamburgers instead of just one at the top. Any tips on how to remedy that? I'd just like all the navigation in 1 bar at the top
  10. Hey guys, I'm trying to format the text evenly for mobile view the same way it is on desktop view. Here's a few screenshots for example: Good on desktop: Bad on mobile: Any suggestions? @tuanphan Thanks
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking to see how I can make an image appear on top of the header font for mobile view, while still keeping it to the right of the header for desktop view. I'm using the Brine template. Any suggestions? Thank you -Jeff
  12. Hey guys, I'm looking to make the footer text smaller than the body text. I feel like there's a code that could probably help this. Any suggestions? Thanks
  13. Hey guys, I'm trying to hide the menu & hairline icon in the Brine theme (on mobile mode). Thank you -Jeff
  14. Hi I need help modifying my current css code so that Heading 2 is set to center or will at least allow me to center it without css. This is my current code: h2 { display: inline-block !important; box-shadow: inset 0 -0.18em 0 #51F5C1; -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0 -0.18em 0 #ea1d26; } I need the the underlined word "Explore" to move to the center of the page. I would prefer that I be able to use the native align functionality in Squarespace however this will default to left align no matter what I do.
  15. I've made the header fixed using below code but the header is not on the top of the page. When I scroll down I can see a little bit of the content showing through small gap at the top of the page (screenshot attached). How can I move the header to the top of the page please? .Header { position: fixed!important; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; } https://rhombus-paddlefish-39ss.squarespace.com/ Cheers
  16. Site URL: https://plane-tunny-45nr.squarespace.com/archive/magicalcrisis Hello! password= test my site uses the maple theme which is part of the brine family, because of this it is supposed to have ajax loading/lazy loading of images. The ajax loading works properly on normal pages, but does not work on blog posts, this is especially clear when viewe on mobile, the images on the blog load slowly because there are so many high resolution images that are all being loaded out of order, so even if the viewport is at the top of the page, resources are being used to load images a
  17. Good morning everyone! Does anyone have a CSS script to produce a full bleed slideshow banner? According to this link the "Moksha" template (brine family) should have slideshow settings show up in site styles but I do not see it, am I missing something? https://christyprice.com/squarespace-tips-tricks/full-bleed-slideshow @christyprice
  18. Hello fine Squarespace experts, I'm swapping Five for Brine and I'm loving it. Mostly. Here's the issue: I am using, and liking, the inset feature, BUT I still want to have white space on the sides of the page when I am doing side-by-side text or image blocks. Problem: when I turn on "Site Padding" to accomplish the white space (currently at 50px), that site padding affects my gallery images, but I want to have FULL WIDTH galleries. I've thought about this from many angles and since I have less galleries than any other blocks, it seems to make sense to override the site padding on gallerie
  19. I'm trying to make a 'shop' page pretty on my blog, but it's not a shop of my own products. It's a collection of products and items from retailers that I want to showcase as my favorite products, featured on one 'shop' (index) page. I am using unlisted galleries to upload the images with click-through links, and on the actual 'shop' index page I am using an image gallery carousel block to show the galleries separated as 'categories' of my favorite products. I want to be able to show the title and description of each image in the carousel gallery block, as they contain the product name an
  20. Hello! I'm looking for a way to resize the banner image on mobile. It zooms in way too much. I'm using the Hunter Template. See attachments for desktop vs mobile view. Any help is appreciated!
  21. I'm looking to adjust the style of the arrows on the carousel gallery block in the Brine template. Right now they are a transparent square with grey arrow. I'd ideally like: 1. No arrows and have the gallery scrollable by scrolling finger down on mouse (as you would to scroll down a page) but in this case it would be across the carousel (example: https://www.the7thmember.xyz/) 2. If not possible (without paying for a plugin), remove the transparent square and just have white/black arrows. (I'd also like to ask if it's possible to add padding within the carousel block b
  22. I'm using an image (not text) as a logo on Miller template and the logo file appears incredibly small when viewed in mobile or when the the browser window is narrowed. How do I put custom css to specify the logo size I want when it's on mobile view? *The miller template doesn't have a built-in option to customize logo size on mobile screen.
  23. Site URL: https://plane-tunny-45nr.squarespace.com/ https://plane-tunny-45nr.squarespace.com/ password=test Hello! I am very happy with the way my site looks until I view it on mobile- the header looks awful on mobile but unfortunately the brine theme does not allow disabling of mobile styles How can I make the mobile site render as close to the desktop version as possible? I have the personal plan so cannot do injected CSS, only custom CSS via the design menu I would be interested in completely avoiding all mobile re-styling if possible- but if this
  24. Site URL: https://www.keikopowerwish.com/moon-sign/aries Hi there, I'd like to use a seamless pattern as a background for a single page in Brine. So far, I figured out how to do this by targeting the .Main class, but this results in the header area remaining white. I'd like the background to go behind the header, as shown in the attached mockup. Any help would be much appreciated! Best, Rieko
  25.
