  1. Site URL: https://www.botanicalblueprints.com/blog/bowmans-hill-preserve-wedding Would Anyone know why this black bar is popping up in the new blog post I just posted in 7.1? It's not showing up on any of my older blog posts.
  2. Site URL: https://nextcitylawyer.com/free-resources/the-truth-about-virtual-vacation-schemes Good afternoon I have added anchor links to the blog posts on my website in order to make it easier for visitors to navigate long blog posts. The anchor link functionality works well, but the code block includes a substantial amount of top and bottom padding which breaks up the page. It's more than the equivalent with a conventional h3 header. <p id="attitude"><h3> 1. Attitude </h3></p> This is an example of the code that I have used on the linked page. Is there
  3. Site URL: https://www.cameroncrookston.com/dragblog Does anyone know how to add the year to the date beside a blog post? Right now when I publish a post it only lists the day and month. I can change the day and month but can't seem to add the year of publication.
  4. Site URL: https://helloluci.com/helloluciblog/self-care-during-quarantine Hi All! I'm working on some blog post that interview people, and I current have the desktop view set up as 'image right, text left' then 'text right, image left' on the next line, and so on. In mobile view, I'd like for the images to stack on top of the quotes. I have tried the following CSS which was given to me by a more advanced user, but it didn't work. I'm not really sure where to go from there. I've linked the blog post for reference! @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { .Main-content .code-block
  5. On all of my site's pages, with the exception of blog posts, I have an image underneath the site header. As seen above, without the image or some kind of background below the site header, you can't see the logo very well. I tried using a thumbnail but did not work. Is there any way to get an image or some kind of background under the site header on a blog post?
  6. Site URL: http://www.thedesignemotive.com I just went to add a new post to a blog and saw that the Post Settings have had a facelift. This all seems okay until I noticed I can't seem to find a space for the actual blog post heading. I've designed my website so that blog headings are hidden, as the default prevented me some stylising main sections on my website (see attached). Is anyone experiencing the same issues?
  7. Is there any way to change the comment section title of a blog post from "Comments (0)" to something else?
  8. Site URL: https://www.tradeway-global.com/blog/why-it-pays-to-visit-the-factory Hi there, I want to customise my blog posts. I want the title to be in a color and the rest of the content to be in a different color, as you can find in the attached screenshots. Right now, if I change the color, the whole post will change colors. Thank you
  9. Hi, Can anyone help with moving the blog post title and category meta data below an image? I would like an image to come up as the first thing when you view a blog post. Please find attached a screen shot of how i would like it look - i have just done this in text at the moment and hidden the blog title Thank you
  10. I am a total novice using squarespace, so please forgive what could be a really stupid question. I've created my first post and pulished it, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to add categories or tags. Nothing in the 'how-to' videos match what I see. I'm assuming this is because the videos relate to version 7.0 and I'm using 7.1. Am using the 'Paloma' Template. When I click on the + symbol to add a new post ,I dont have a box that has the tags and categories items at the bottom. It adds a draft post to the list (screen shot 1) and then opens as an editable page (screen sh
  11. Site URL: https://www.bestrongfamilies.org I'm looking for CSS to turn off the date on a collection of "blog" posts I am setting up for my client's website. They want an archive of unique content and utilizing the blog collection tool seems to be the best way to set this up on their existing Squarespace with the functionality they need. However, we do not want dates to appear on these posts or on the landing page showing multiple posts. I know we can turn dates off blogs site-wide, but we need to be able to keep them ON on the client's traditional, existing news blog

  14. There is no functionality built into the 7.1 template to accomplish this, and the CSS that I have researched for previous iterations are not working. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance!
  15. Is it possible to update the logo colour on an individual blog post using Squarespace 7.1? Or alternatively, can the header image be updated? I have a white logo across my site which works fine except for individual blog posts. Normal header Individual blog post header Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
  16. I am a birth photographer and would like to draft a blog post with images for my client to approve before I share it publicly. Is there a way I can create at password-protected blog post, or make it visible by just sending a link (and not available just on my website or by a search)? I realize I could just send her a gallery of the images, but I'd like her to see them in the context of the post so she can see them how the public would. Thanks!!
  17. Site URL: https://www.brainwashblog.com/brainwash-blog/world-environment-day-5-simple-lifestyle-tips-video For some reason my blog author names are no longer appearing on my blog posts. I can't find where this would be configured - can anyone help? Example of a blog page: https://www.brainwashblog.com/brainwash-blog/world-environment-day-5-simple-lifestyle-tips-video

  19. Hi there, Newbie here! I would like to decrease the line spacing in the blog post titles. Attaching a screenshot of typical default scenario. Thank you! URL https://cube-swordfish-pexe.squarespace.com/
  20. Site URL: https://rosalindbrookman.com/blog I'd like to apply different colours to my links in blog post summaries depending on what category the post is in. So for example if a post has the category of 'Business' then the blog post title and read more link would be green on the summary, if the category is 'Writing' then it's red etc. Many thanks for any help you can offer.
  21. Hello, In 7.2, the nav bar on blog pages must follow the same color theme as the blog's body. Sitewide we have black nav bar + white body with black text, pretty standard. Unfortunately on blog pages this means it's white body + white nav bar, and this is a problem because our logo is white so it's lost in the white nav bar. Tried this already to no avail: #collection-5ea0ceff2e2abb13b38daf00 .header-announcement-bar-wrapper { background-color: #000000; } I can puzzle my way through CSS but am at a loss right now. Please help! Thank you
  22. Site URL: https://www.grahamweaver.com/ On individual blog pages, I added code to make the text for previous and subsequent blog titles (basically the pagination at bottom of each blog post) change colors to our accent blue when the mouse hovers over the titles. It appears to be working just fine when the Custom CSS window is open, but for some reason the hover effect stops working after I close the CSS window on the left menu. See screen grabs for reference. All of my other code is working just fine. Any idea what the issue is here? Is it my code, or is it Squarespace? Would so appreciate i

  24. Site URL: https://www.wonderlass.com/blog/episode82 Hey there! 😊 Does anyone know of a way to add CODE to the BRINE template in order to add a sidebar to the blog posts? After lots of research, the only workaround that I found was creating a separate "blog" in the "not linked" section, putting the sidebar info + images in that blog and then adding it as a summary > wall block to each individual blog post. While this looks great on the desktop version, (for example: https://www.wonderlass.com/blog/episode82) it looks horrible on the mobile version since the sidebar shows up right sm
  25. Hi All, I am trying to design/set up a blog page for my client and I am using a blog template on version 7.1. I can't seem to figure out how to get the thumbnail image to appear that corresponds to the blog post. As shown in the screenshot below (it's the first blog post in the list on the left, the rest are existing from the template) you can see the title of the post is there, but there's no image above (unlike the template's post next to it which has it's default landscape photo.) What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help advice.
