  1. Site URL: http://chriscampos.com I would like to customize my foundry template so that when publishing a post it includes the full date, including the year. For example, right now the date on a post I made in October says "Oct 25" but I would like it to say "Oct 25, 2020". I have upgraded to a business plan to allow for customizations. I have also searched this forum and other sites for the right code to add as a "code injection" but haven't found anything that works. I would truly appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks!!
  2. Site URL: https://kaigohr.com/ Hi, everyone I want to put a button to a specific page on the category filtered page. Does anyone know how to do that? Here is the filtered page by the "SNS" category. https://kaigohr.com/seminar-post/category/SNS I want to place a button to return to the top of the blog here. Blog top is this page: https://kaigohr.com/seminar
  3. Site URL: https://caper-badger-3s6d.squarespace.com/blog/mytruth Password: home I wish to replace Blog post titles with custommade ''image''. I want different image on each blog post. Can anyone help?
  4. I'm trying to find the best setup for a website I'm building, and I keep running into problems. I've been tasked with creating a portfolio website for an arts collective. Every month they set a creative task and then the members of the group respond in whatever way they want. Ideally I need to make a website that the users can upload their responses to quite simply and then the website will categorise them into the correct spaces. At the moment I have a home page with a portfolio displaying the different 'months' as projects within that portfolio. And ideally I'd like my clients to be able to submit blog entries to go into those projects, and if a project doesn't exist they can create a new one. Has anyone got any tips on how to get a setup like this to work, even if it's with some compromises?
  5. Is anyone else still having issues with Grammarly for blog posts? It will work and I see the suggests in the bottom right, but when I go to click, it kicks me out of the post. I have tried both from the Edit on the blog panel as well as on the page itself. Hope this makes sense! Thank you!
  6. Hi, Hoping someone can help…(using 7.1) I’m trying to change the fonts and the way the initial listings are shown on blog pages and posts…only I can’t seem to workout the right CSS code to inject. On the blog listing page, there’s currently about three columns with an image, then underneath that a title, excerpt and meta data, and gutter of around 60px; all pretty bog standard…I’m wanting customise those fonts with CSS, and place them on top of the image so they're more like a Poster Image display (with approx 10px padding all round)…I just can’t seem to get any of it. I’ve checked out this post which lists all the CSS ids https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/160059-share-squarespace-71-css-id-list/ but, I’m obviously being stupid as I can’t get it to work. Can anyone help? (I’m also wanting to change the fonts on the blog post page itself, and the Newsletter Subscribe button/fields; again, I’m thinking this is simple, but the CSS code doesn’t seem to do anything for me.) Huge, mahoosive thanks in advance 🙂
  7. I am trying to make the text "Notes, Queries and Explanations" at the top of the individual blog posts a link back to the home blog page. The text is currently added using the content attribute and am having trouble working out the javascript. What can I do to make that a link?
  8. Does anyone know if its possible to create a widget (similar to the blog summary block but styled differently) that can be used on another website?
  9. Site URL: http://ymcahome.ca/on-demand-wellness/ Is there a way to hide all blog posts from my main blog page landing page? I know this is an odd request but I am trying to accomplish a work around to fix my Members Area problem. My plan is to add summary blocks on the page and filter by category so I don't have a zillion pages in my members area navigation dropdown.
  10. Site URL: https://shark-clementine-5jph.squarespace.com/blog-2 Hello, Is there a way to make blog posts that do not redirect anywhere when clicked? And a second part to my question, is how can I put a border around blog images? I got it working by testing it on the header/footer but I can't figure out how to do it on the blog images. footer#footer-sections { border-top: 1px solid #e1e1e1; } Site password: mz
  11. Site URL: https://www.etlicsw.com/ Hello I am trying to modify the color of the comment box on a client's website. Currently the comment box background color is white- is there anyway to change this to a different color (wanting it to be green like the background). Is there a CSS code I could use as I don't see it in the built in. Thanks!
  12. Site URL: https://lizard-lily-axxj.squarespace.com/gallery Working with a page with a narrow design, I find there is just to much padding on 7.1. Know how to reduce this vertically and in sections, but can't find the option on blog posts. First: Too much padding between the menu and the photo. Then too much padding both between categories and text (blog content) and categories and the footer / next blog post arrow. How to reduce this? Ps: I have a css removing the title and moving the metadata below the blog content. https://lizard-lily-axxj.squarespace.com/gallery (please open a blog post) - password: heggholmenfyr
  13. Site URL: https://zeroimpactlife.com I'm trying to make the title of each individual blog post overlay the thumbnail image when you click into the blog post itself. Any help would be much appreciated!
  14. I would like to display blog posts on a page by collection, then allow users to click into each collection where all the posts are displayed. I would like it to display similarly as attached and wasn't able to achieve the effect using Archive or Summary content blocks. I have set up blog pages for each collection, for example, Interest, Costs, FAQ, Savings, and categorised each post into the respective categories. Thank you
  15. Site URL: https://www.thisisdanielle.net Hi there, I just did a small redesign on my website, and I wanted to have a link on the home page which will automatically take users to the second page on my blog in real time...meaning when I update the blog, it will always show what would be on page 2 of the blog. For context, I wanted my blog page to have a featured section at the top. Since you can't do this on my template (or seemingly at all with Squarespace in general), I decided to make a summary page which contained a featured bar at the top and then the blog below via a summary block. I have 12 posts on each blog page so included 12 in the summary as well so that it will always align with the following pages and be a seamless transition. The problem is that the second page (and subsequent) pages of my blog are not simply blog/page2 like I am used to seeing. Instead, the second page of my blog is /blog?offset=1548819240055. The numbers are constantly changing and so this means that my link on the homepage will constantly need to be updated. This is something I would like to be automatic. (If you visit my site and click the link "Older" at the bottom, you will see it goes to a page but it is not the second page of my blog. It is missing posts. This was the second page of my blog the other day but it is no longer accurate since I have added content). Is there a way I can use CSS to format blog page slugs? Or is there a way to automatically link to the second page of my blog? I haven't seen any questions similar to this online so I am hoping someone can help! Thanks! **UPDATE - I went into my blogs source code and copied the code for the "Older" link on the page, hoping this would fix the issue. While it formatted my link to look like it does on the actual blog, it still does not update in read time like it does on the blog itself. Would love to know where this code is and how to carry it over.
  16. I have searched the forums but nothing is working! I have tried these two snippets: .collection-type-blog article h1.entry-title { text-align: center; } h1.entry-title { text-align: left !important; } Please help.
  17. Is there a difference between adding an original blog link to the "source url" section in a blog post vs. code injection of the snippet below? <link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/blog/test-blog/" />
  18. Site URL: https://www.peterbjerg.dk/blog Hi Squarespace community, This one has been nagging me! On my blog page, where all blog posts are listed as excerpts, the title and "read more" both works as links to the individual posts. But the images on the blog page, HOW do I make them work as links too? The images are inserted via Edit Post > Options > Thumbnail Image. I am able to code myself, but I can do code injection, if I know exactly which code to inject, and also need to know where it should be injected. The site in question is a 7.0 site (Wells template)
  19. I'd like to customize my individual blog pages on 7.1 more but Squarespace has this feature locked down. The most that I would like to do is add a full bleed header image and a different (full section/full bleed) pre-footer that only shows up on blogs. I've thought about just using porfolios but with the 40 project limitation, that option won't work for long. Any alternative ideas?
  20. Site URL: https://www.psonlinestyling.com/get-inspired Hi there, I was wondering if anyone can help. On my square space blog page there are extra blog post headings at the bottom that I would like to remove. The blog landing page is formatted so the posts are as thumbnails (this is correct) but then I can't remove the extra blog headings from the bottom of the page. Screengrab attached of the headings to be removed. Can anyone help? Thanks, Ella
  21. Site URL: https://www.isabelhagen.com/episode-list/6b Hello, Looking to change the "Previous/Next" navigation to "Newer/Older", in that order. Using York theme. No CSS I am finding works 😞 Most CSS has not made any effect. However, trying this eliminated the links altogether, but couldn't figure out the right tweak to just change the text. Having the title of the blog post (in this case podcast title) is still desired. Thank you!!!!
  22. Site URL: https://www.shahfoundation.org/ Squarespace 7.1 Same Blog Entries are linked to 2 Summary Blocks. I would like to use the 'Link Post Title to Source URL' for one but not the other. Because this feature is tied to the blog entry instead of the summary block there is no way to do it. I am trying to have one summary block use the 'Link Post Title to Source URL' feature to click to external links. I am hoping there is a piece of code which would disable this on a second summary block so the same blog articles would direct back to my blog entries instead of the external links. -Or another option to achieve the result I am looking for. The only thing I can think of is to make a duplicate blog which seems ridiculous every time I make a new blog entry. Thanks in advance.
  23. Hi, I'm happy with the layout of the Masonry blog page where it lists all the blog posts, but I would like to make the title in the blog post smaller and also include the picture at the top of the page (which is also the thumbnail for the post in the blog list page). Any ideas how I can do this?
  24. When automatically sending a blog post to Twitter, is there any way to include hashtags? Pretty important feature for Twitter posts.
  25. Site URL: https://caper-badger-3s6d.squarespace.com/blog/lyrics https://caper-badger-3s6d.squarespace.com/blog/behindmylyrics https://caper-badger-3s6d.squarespace.com/blog/mytruth Password: home The blog posts (on these three category pages) get stacked on mobile version. I want 2 blog posts in a row. Can anyone help?
