Hey all! I'm using the Paloma template and I am trying to have a thumbnail image show at the bottom of each page of the previous and next blog/episode. Currently (standard) it shows the title of the next/previous blog - I just want to add the thumbnail for each as well. Any help? Thanks so much!

I tried some solutions that others posted here but none of them worked for me. Main point: I was wondering if it is possible to remove the fade-in animation for gallery blocks on pages. I would like all the images to load in right away. At the moment, if you scroll too quickly, it seems like a lot of unused space, which is not the perception I want to give off. Site URL: https://breathelondon.org Hi All, I want to have contributorA to be able to add blogs to 'Page A Blog'. And I want contributorB to be able to add blogs to 'Page B Blog'. It looks like it's possible to create a Collection on a page which shows only blogs which have a certain category tag. So in theory I could set up 'Page A Blog' with a Collection on it that pulls in only blog posts that are tagged 'contributorA'. And I could set up a 'Page B Blog' with a collection on it that pulls in only blog posts that are tagged 'contributorB'. BUT... As I understand it, currently, in Squarespace, if I invite contributorA and contributorB, each of them can not only view and edit each other's pages, they could also view and edit all of the other pages in my site - which I don't want! (obviously). Unless I've missed something, and it's not possible to restrict contributors to only be able to view/edit certain pages... is there another solution I could use? Could I, for example, use something like Contentful, use that to give the contributors their logins, and use some sort of plugin or custom code on each page to bring in content from Contenftul. So 'Page A Blog' pulls in blogs from Contentful from contributorA and 'Page B Blog' pulls in blogs from Contentful from contributorB? Any thoughts welcome! Thanks, Andy

I’m quite new to Squarespace and am trying to understand how to get my blog posts noticed by Google. there’s an option for each blog post to share with various networks - can anyone explain what the Google console option does? I’ve started enabling it in the hope that it will help the new pages get indexed but is that right?

Over the last few months, I have been doing some site updates for a client on Squarespace. They are wanting to implement a new layout and styling for their blog posts (both regular blog posts as well as team member bio posts). It doesn't appear that Squarespace has the concept of true templates. Based on various Google searches, it appears that we would need to manually make the updates on each post... either on the existing post or creating a new post with the desired styling and using it as the "template" to redo each entry. (tedious!!) Is this correct or did I miss something? Terry

Everything was a "success" until today I checked and all affiliate links within each posts are no longer showing. Instead I get an error message: "JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content." I have disabled Ajax loading and tried viewing in incognito mode - neither has resolved the issue! Site URL: https://hyperboloid-sepia-82f5.squarespace.com/ Hello, I am working to import a Wordpress blog (only the posts) to a new Squarespace website (https://hyperboloid-sepia-82f5.squarespace.com/) and I have followed the instructions listed here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543957. Both times I chose the Advanced option and exported only the "posts" from the Wordpress backend and downloaded the .xml file. The first time I did all posts. The second time I did all posts since January 2019. Both times I got a "success" message as you can see in my screenshots below. However, these posts are nowhere to be found. From my understanding they should be in the unlinked pages area... however there is nothing there. I would really appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!

All, I have three blog collections on my website, hosted by Squarespace. Two are written blog collections, and one is a Podcast collection. For the past two years, I have been able to successfully click "edit" on any post in any of the three collections, and select "duplicate" at the bottom of the dialog box that appears, and use the subsequently duplicated post as a template for a new post. This has saved time in publishing content to my site. Last week, I started receiving an error. Whenever I click "duplicate" on any post in any of the collections, I get this message: "ERROR SAVING" "An error occurred while duplicating this item" My two written blog collections have 93 items, each, and my podcast collection has 96 items. I have attached a screenshot of the error message. I have also started a support ticket with Squarespace support. I hope to resolve this error soon, as it significantly impacts my workflow. Has anyone run across this error?

for a client I need to create two blogs with special features but it seems like squarespace 7.1 won't allow me to make the following adjustments: the first blog should open on it's latest post. I want to show the full entry with comments. at this view the pagination needs to be next to the title. my client also wants a featured post which has a grid template and a bigger post with an excerpt above. every blog post should have three icons with text next to it as meta. there i want to show the number of views, the number of comments and the number of words for each post. can someone help me with this?

I have set up a blog with various articles split into categories. I can show articles that are in specific categories with no problem, but the previous/next links at the bottom of each article link to whatever comes next in date, rather than only showing those in the same specific category. Is there a way to ONLY have next/previous show articles in the same category. For example, I have relatively simple articles for students but also more technical ones for scientists. Users can click on "student" or "scientist" and be presented with just those articles meant for them, but if I happen to have published a student article on 1st of the month, a science one on 3rd and another student one on 5th, the next link at the bottom of the article published on the 1st (student) shows that published on the 3rd (science), not the next student one that was published on the 5th.

I'd like the blog pages, acting as gallery pages for venues, to feature images with text overlays. The text overlay should always be visible, not activated by hovering over the image. If the blog entry title could be overlaid over the image as well, that would be ideal. Any advice or pointers gratefully received!
