  1. Hi, all - wondering if it's possible to display tags for a blog post in addition to/separately from other metadata (e.g. category, date), and elsewhere on the page. Context: I'm using the Brine template. Under "Site Styles," you can set "primary" and "secondary" metadata to display on any given post — and you can only display two metadata types. By default, those two pieces of metadata display under the blog post title, as below (here, I'm displaying Categories and Date). Question: What I'm wondering is — is it possible to, in addition to the "Primary" and "Secondary" metadata you can set in Site Styles, display a third metadata type (e.g. tags), elsewhere on the page (e.g. at the bottom of the post)? I'd love to be able to have a display at the bottom of a post, near the previous/next links and social share buttons, that lists the post tags (e.g. Tagged under: Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3). Is it possible?
  2. I have attempted to justify the main body text of my blog post. Perhaps I have used the wrong code, or maybe I have used it in the wrong place.I used this code: .Main-content p { text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-word !important; In my design css. Help please!!
  3. Site URL: https://www.altrottasamphora.com/ How do I change the size/shape of my featured blog post images? They are currently small circles, but i want them to be squares or rectangles.
  4. Hi, I'm creating a page to list our members/consultants within our new association. We currently have about 20 members in different cities, but we could grow much larger over the years. I wonder if there is a smart way to set up an overview/list of people and to have a page for each person for more information. What I have done so far is to set up a blog where each post is a persons profile, and then have an overview page where I list all the members in a summary block. You can view it here: Page: https://www.sbpo.se/vara-medlemmar Password: medlem My worries with this solution are: - it will take a lot of time to administrate once we grow larger and have more members - it will be hard to change the template we have setup in the future as you would need to go in and edit all members individual profiles if you need to update something for all of them - it's too flexible (we should have a general template) and not a long term solution - the sorting in the summary block can't sort on tags/categories/title of the blog, a workaround to sort it right now is to arrange the date/time of the blog we published in order to adjust the sorting of the members according to their name or city. What kind of solution would you recommend for this case instead of the one I have made? Thank you in advance!
  5. Hi there! I am new to Squarespace and hoping someone can help with the following issue. I posted a blog post on the blog page I created, but the title is overlapping with itself, making it impossible to read (see picture). Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you for any suggestions!!!
  6. Hey, y'all! I'm new to Squarespace and am working on a photography blog. I have SFW and NSFW images and I was wondering if there is a way to assign blogs with an "NSFW" tag to blur until being clicked. I know this is probably a long shot. I'd also be happy if there's a way to do it manually by inserting a code block into the individual blog post, but I couldn't work that out either. Thanks for any help you can provide!
  7. Site URL: https://www.surfbetternow.com Hi, I am wondering if there is an easy way to duplicate a blog post from one blog page to another within the same site. We have a members blog page and public blog page which has similar content but with some omissions. I would like to not have to re-create each blog individually if possible. Thanks for your help!
  8. Site URL: https://www.evokeengage.com/blog/what-to-post-on-social-media-during-covid-19 I'd like to constrain the width of my blog posts to the same width as the images at the top of each post. Here's an example: https://www.evokeengage.com/blog/what-to-post-on-social-media-during-covid-19 Ideally, the copy would be constrained at the sides - the same width as the image. What CSS do I need for this? I've tried every option that was posted to this forum in the recent past that seems related, but none seem to work in my case. Thank you!!
  9. Greetings - Is there a way to create a "blog entry banner" that is set to the content of another page? For example, on this post/video...he shows how to create a Banner Image that would show on/above EACH blog post entry, which is what I want/need... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw70uEWAGQE ...but I need to take it one step further. I'd like my "blog banner" to have buttons/navigation. My thought was to create the "blog entry banner" on a non-linked page (below)... https://plumblinenetwork.squarespace.com/apostellomentorshipentrybanner ...then somehow use that element (by way of page id maybe?) to insert in the "Page Header Code Injection" of the Blog (link below)... https://plumblinenetwork.squarespace.com/mentorship-blog-content Is something like this possible? Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://spinach-tarantula-nbae.squarespace.com/ The author profiles in 7.1 don't offer a lot of styling options. I'm wondering if I can get author profiles to look like they did in 7.0: Is it possible to center the text and change the text size and style of the author's name? Password: itstoohot
  11. Is it possible to add categories within categories of a blog? For example if one my categories was "Photography" how could I then add the subcategories of "Landscapes", "Portraits", and "Gear"? Thanks!
  12. I'd appreciate some help adding the post date to a single post page title. I'm using 7.1, and it doesn't seem to display this. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
  13. I'm going to have many blog entries, and galleries. For organization purposes, I'd like to keep them separate. However, I want to display the "latest" few additions to the home page in a kind of "news feed" style using a summary block. I'd like to have the blog posts sprinkled in with the gallery images in this feed. Is there any way to add multiple sources to the summary block? I saw a similar question from 2016, but it was closed with no resolution. I hope that it has been addressed by now?
  14. Site URL: https://www.usabilityforeveryone.com/blog-content/2019/5/23/how-to-plan-a-ux-research-study-with-free-template I am trying to remove the whole section at the bottom of all my blog posts that has links to the "newer" and "older" posts. I don't want to replace them with something else, I want to remove this all-together. I am using 7.0 with the Bedford template. TIA.
  15. Site URL: https://trinityupperville.org/ I am trying to figure out how to display a Summary Block with the FULL post - instead of just the excerpt. I am trying to create a landing page that features the most recent post from a blog in its entirety. Is there some code for this? I am on the Bedford template. TIA
  16. I would like to layout my blog with a top section that has a different background color to the rest of the page. I have tried for hours to do this with the native tools and have been unsuccessful. I have attached an image of the result that I am trying to achieve.

  18. Site URL: https://www.ncdcma.org/ There is an awkward white space at the top of all blog posts and events (not the main event page, but individual events). I've tried hiding the banner, but that didn't do anything. I've also tried a couple of different CSS codes, but those haven't worked either. I attached a screenshot of the problem below. Does anyone have any CSS codes that would fix these issues?
  19. Hello all, maybe someone can help me with this: Is it possible in 7.1 that if a blog post headline is longer in the summary it will be shortened by 3 points so that it stays in one text line and does not split into two lines as normal (as in the right image) Thanks for the help. Best
  20. Hi everyone, I have a blog post to publish that myself and another contributer have worked on together, however I can't find a way to display both authors names in the 'written by' section of the article. The drop down list only allows me to select one or the other, not both. Is there any way to put both authors names in the written by section of an article? Cheers!
  21. We are trying to and need to have the year after the date in a blog post. We are using the Skye Template. For example, the date just shows "Oct 2" how do we get it to display "Oct 2, 2019"?
  22. Hey, Does anybody know the CSS code for the related items (blog settings > advanced > related items). I want to change the margins around the related posts using the CSS code. Thank you!
  23. Site URL: https://meweflagey.squarespace.com/ In this blog style site, above the comment section, i want the link name to the next video to just be "next video/ previous video" (right now it displays next/previous video name). Is it possible to change it? If not, is it possible to remove it? password is 12345 Image below to show where.
  24. Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with blog post titles. I needed the titles to be removed from displaying on my blog posts and used the below code to fix the problem. The code completely removed the title entry on all posts in edit mode, which is fine, however I still need to be able to title each blog post for analytics purposes and I'm not sure it is possible with this code in. The only way I can think to do it is by removing the code each time I create a new blog post, adding the title in and then putting the code back in to hide it on the actual post, but this will mean all my blog titles will briefly be visible. Is there another way to title blog posts? If you have any suggestions that would greatly appreciated! .blog-item-title h1 { display: none; }
  25. Site URL: https://www.paulineharley.com/blog/without-acceptance-one-cant-have-success Hi there, Can anybody help me to resolve this?
