  1. The world of the Internet is changing every day. New strategies and approaches appear all the time, and anyone who creates a personality on the Internet is forced to constantly catch up with him. But there is one approach that began to gain momentum about three years ago, and it is still gaining momentum. In fact, it seems that on the basis of this single approach, more and more trends are being built to ensure that it remains at the center of the Internet world for years to come. I mean blogging, and this phenomenon is still gaining momentum. In addition, blogging platforms include more and more features that integrate blogs even deeper into the fabric of modern internet marketing. Between tags, trackbacks, and syndication, a blogger has everything he needs to create a massive online presence around the blog. The dramatic influx of bloggers in recent years has prompted more chronicle of their lives so that the whole world sees, and as a result, the total number of blogs has grown exponentially. The biggest problem for most bloggers is the lack of traffic. For a blog to bring any positive results, you need traffic, and it may be difficult for a new blogger to stand out from a huge sea of competitors. There are many things that bloggers can do to encourage people to visit their blogs, and this article will briefly cover three of them. The first need for a successful blog is regular posts, followed by good writing. I can share a good idea, I learned to write a lot and many of my friends turned to me “I need help in writing an essay” and I always helped and it gave me a very good experience, so try to take on any work in order to master writing skills anything. A blog that is updated once a week is not going to cut it; not in the modern world. Blogs that are noticed are active with frequent and well-designed posts. I think about it. People are there to read. They are there to gain access to someone else's life. It has a voyeuristic aspect, but the effect is lost when the reader’s view of the blogger is distorted by poor writing skills or poor grammar. The second thing a blogger needs to do to drive traffic to his blog is to register in all blog directories. Indeed, there are thousands of them, but a quick Google search on the word catalog of words will quickly give those directories that will attract the most traffic. I also included a list of the best blog directories on the TacticalExecution.com Links tab. Once registered, your blog becomes part of a huge community of bloggers, and traffic can be significant. The third thing bloggers need to do to get extra traffic is to join BlogRush. BlogRush is a syndication network where other related blogs are advertised on your blog and yours on them. The platform is free and operates on a syndicated loan system. By building traffic on your own blog, you earn credits to gain additional fame on other people's blogs. This is a great innovation in the blogging world, and you are strongly encouraged to sign up soon because future members who learn about BlogRush through your blog will become part of your referral network, which will increase traffic. Blogs are here to stay. Today there are blogs that receive over 700,000 unique visitors each month, and this provides countless other benefits for their creators. Creating a blog and informing the world about its existence is the first step towards creating your own audience. The three strategies listed above will go a long way towards starting the process. Good luck and happy blogging.

  4. Hi there! I'm trying to set up an online publication and can't figure out how to get my posts/articles from my pages (for example lets say I've got fashion features as one page, fashion news as another, fashion interviews as a third) to feature on my homepage where I want to have all my recent articles showing. I tried to use the portfolio and blog pages but can't figure it out other than literally having to create the post again on the homepage. Could someone please advise me on how I can get my articles to feature on the homepage, and also what kind of page I should be using as my homepage and what kind of pages would be best to use for my other page categories to make them link up? Many thanks, Hannah Edit: I'm currently using the 7.1 template Brower
  5. Site URL: https://www.xn--litterrsalong-8fb.net Hi everyone! I'm currently in the process of setting up a page, with a teaser page currently online. The site will be a compilation of several texts, videos and audio-recordings as part of an arts project. We were originally planning on setting up a show in May, but those plans got cancelled for obvious reasons. Instead we'll publish them online. I've currently looked at the "blog" layout, which seems easy enough, but I was wondering if I was overlooking som good layouts or designs. Preferably the design would be a minimalistic list of posts containing one work each. Any input?
  6. Site URL: http://melaniejane.design/ I want to convert my portfolio into a blog so I can utilise the categories and tag section but I really dislike the lack of customisation on my blog landing page. I want it to look and function exactly like my index page (hover overlay, responsive resizing, etc) but including tags with my titles. Can anyone help me with this? After a google deepdive I have some applied custom css on the landing page and am also trialling a separate summary block. Now the pages look similar but just aren't responding the same, especially on mobile. Can someone please help me? 9. Site URL: https://www.thefateggplant.com Hi All, I'm just getting started with Squarespace and I'm a novice with CSS. I want to remove the blog title and all text from the blog gallery. Are you able to help me achieve this? http://thefateggplant.com
  10. Site URL: https://www.mayamukhopadhaya.com/portfolio-blog-style I have a mix of different types of work I would like to showcase- product management, design research, strategy and workshop facilitation. Since it is a mix of different types of work, I would like to use "categories" to help the audience navigate which 'posts' are relevant to them. For example, someone interested in product management experience could click on posts categorized as product management. But I can't figure out how/where to add categories to posts in order to achieve that. PW to site url: mayam
  11. Site URL: https://www.huesofcomfort.com/ Hello there - I am having issues with my blog index page. It looks great on a PC but on mobile it looks out of place, it should be shifted down some. Any help is appreciated.
  12. Site URL: https://bumblebee-koala-rze5.squarespace.com/ I have an another internal site. If I add any data on the site then I should be able to add the blog on squarespace site as well. For this, When a data/blog is added on my site, I'll call a REST API of squarespace site to add the blog. Is there any way we can do that? Are any such APIs available to add blogs? Hoping for quick response. Thanks.
  13. Hi all, I'm trying to change my Blog List Style. Ideally, I could find a layout that's a list of expanding and collapsing posts, so that my visitors can see multiple post titles at once. That doesn't seem possible, so for now I'm just trying to change the List Style to Grid, which would accomplish a similar end. But I'm having difficulty. Currently, my blog list style is Stacked, and I can't seem to find a way to switch it to Grid. So far what I've found is that I should go to Design-->Site Styles, and then change "Blog:List" to Grid. But when I navigate to Site Styles, Blog:List doesn't show up for me. The only categories that show up are "Colors" and "Blog Styles." Perhaps it has to do with my template? According to my research, some templates are more blog-friendly than others. My template is Om. Thanks for your help! Brenden
  14. Site URL: https://oneearthrising.com/games/paraiso-island Hi folks, I use the regular blog page for my news blog (all good there). In addition, I use the same blog layout of the template for our 'Games' page (overview of the games we have published). For the latter, I would like to hide the author profile for obvious reasons as it is rather a product information page than an a blog page and doesn't need an author. However, if I changed the setting to hide the author profile on this Games 'blog' page, it also hides it for the official News blog (where I would like to keep it). I'm sure there is a CSS solution for it that I can implement into the Games blog page code injection section. Would be great if someone could help me. Thank you.
  15. I have imported my Tumblr site onto a blog page, and I’ve noticed how unnecessary the tags seem in this format. Is there some code I can use somewhere to hide them? Does anyone have any idea what code I could try and where I should put it? Thank you.
  16. Site URL: http://unitedchristianembassyforkurdistan.com I have multiple sites hosted with Squarespace and I would like to use the blog posts from one site on the other site as well. Is there a way to mirror the all the content and META data from my existing blog to show up on the other blog page? Really I want to pull posts that have a certain tag but I guess answering the first question is necessary before getting into that.

  20. Site URL: https://www.ealt.ca/blog Hi, I am trying to figure out how to hide the date on our blog pages that are more or less static with little new content additions (ie. https://www.ealt.ca/kids/), and show the date on our main dynamic blog page (https://www.ealt.ca/blog) posts. I understand that you can hide/show via the Design function, but that that will be site-wide. I am wondering if there is a way to hide/show date via code injections on individual pages. I feel like it should be an easy fix but I have very little web experience and have scoured the internet to no avail. Thank you! Nikki

  22. Site URL: https://www.munichmotorworks.com/cars-for-sale/1992-toyota-mr2 Hi there: I'm having trouble changing the title font on the actual blog post page. I changed the title in Site Style, but that only seems to affect what's shown on the blog page. I found a couple other posts referencing CSS settings and tried that out, but that was unsuccessful as well.
