  1. Site URL: https://www.recaprabbithole.com/ https://www.recaprabbithole.com/ I would like the blog cover images (only) to stretch the full width of the phone such that there is no white space to the right of the blog pictures. See attached illustration. What CSS should I use?
  2. Site URL: https://robpeace.org Hey there, friends. The site is not up and running yet - quite a few more tweaks to do - but the issue I am working on now is this: I would like the main page of the JOURNAL tab to be my most recent post, which I have all set up and it looks good to go. However, at the end of that most recent post, the OLDER POST tab is there, which is fine. But when clicked, it takes you to the previous post all right but with the banner from the most recent post. All of my blog posts have their own separate banner as you can see if you click each one on the sidebar. That all works fine -- when the posts are clicked via the sidebar, they come up as I want them to. But the banner for all of them remains as the most recent post when clicking the OLDER POST tab. Is there any way to fix this? Or even remove "OLDER" and "NEWER" at the bottom of the posts? I wouldn't care if they were gone, because that's what the sidebar essentially is for anyhow. Not sure how to go about this or if I even can. MUCH thanks in advance!
  3. Site URL: https://chinchilla-pentagon-dyaf.squarespace.com/config/design My site isn't yet published, but I'm having an issue with blog titles. I imported my old WP site blog posts over to SquareSpace with no problem. Blog post titles show up in the right spot. However, when creating new blog posts in SquareSpace, I'm unable to type where it says "Enter Post Title"... There is no option to enter a title. (see first image) While I'm able to do a workaround, using the main copy section and selecting Heading 1 to that text, what happens when the new post is published? Will the workaround title show up as a blog post title preview (second image at bottom), when people are scrolling through the posts? Any way to fix so I'm able to enter titles where they should go? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  4. I'm looking to have a blog post appear on my homepage but also under the subcategory. For reference, a perfect example of this is zenhabits.net. I've gone through the Live Chat help and they first suggested a 'summary box' but this is not what I'm after as I want the whole blog post to appear on the homepage - not just a summary of it. They also suggested 'embed'. I tried this but with no avail. Any help would be highly appreciated!
  5. Hello, I have been trying to link my LinkedIn account for blog article posts but, I am unable to authorize it successfully. I keep receiving an error message: Authentication Failure Connecting to LinkedIn is temporarily down. Please try again later. The issue has been ongoing for a couple weeks now. I also logged into LinkedIn's settings and removed previous square space Oauth Dev links, but the issue still persists.
  6. Site URL: https://tulip-shallot-l5l7.squarespace.com/newsletters/episode-06-staycationing-layrn I can't work out how to target the blog title font and change it , I've managed to target every other element but cant get this to change , please help! For example on this page where it says 'May' at the top of the page https://tulip-shallot-l5l7.squarespace.com/newsletters/episode-06-staycationing-layrn Password: f7 _____ code below does not work .summary-title a { font-family: fantasy; }
  7. Hi, I have written multiple blog posts that can be seen on the left hand side of the screen, but the main page on the right is empty - 'no blog posts'. I was just wondering, is this because I have saved all my blogs as a draft (I'm not quite finished with them)? If I 'publish' them in the settings (my actual website will remain unpublished for the moment), will they then show up on the main page? Thanks.
  8. Site URL: https://www.robcartwright.net/blog I figured this was the best place to put this since the solution is likely a bit of custom code. The titles of my blogs are being cut off. I searched this topic and tried two custom code suggestions to no avail. Any thoughts?
  9. Site URL: https://bernardandhawkes.com/new-england-insider-favorites Hi, I am trying to tighten up the spacing in between elements on my masonry blog layout, I have reduced the spacing within the SquareSpace custom section, but there appears to be margin being added in the code. How can I remove this? I have tried multiple different selector options and nothing is changing it. Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://www.icedornothing.com/blog Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to have my secondary navigation (the 'lifestyle', 'wellness' and 'culture' drop down menus) only appear on my blog page? I want to be able to separate the categories like that in the same style, but only on the actual blog page, not any of the main pages. Thank you for your help!

  13. Site URL: https://tuba-caper-7mj2.squarespace.com/blog/2015/10/14/preserved-lemons-br3e6 Hi, I need some help resizing the content on my blog page. Currently everything is centred into a very narrow block of text, which you can see here: https://tuba-caper-7mj2.squarespace.com/blog/2015/10/14/preserved-lemons-br3e6 The same thing is also happening on the main blog page: https://tuba-caper-7mj2.squarespace.com/blog In terms of the main blog page I would like to have the posts stacked with a square image to the left hand side of each post, and then to have the title and excerpt to the right of the image. I've attached a rough image below of what this should look like. I've tried many solutions from the forums and couldn't get anywhere with this. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Abbas
  14. Site URL: https://tambourine-orca-xhby.squarespace.com/news I am attempting to style my 7.1 blog summary using a masonry grid and inspired by the old Tudor template. While I've successfully laid out the elements pretty closely (and even accounted for the mobile nuances, the unfortunate side effect is that all the content blocks are overlapping each other when the page is loaded ... However, if i make any change to my browser window size, it will re-shuffle the content and render it correctly ... check out the page here ... https://tambourine-orca-xhby.squarespace.com/news password: 1234 I hope I don't have to ditch all the work I put into it? /* add a little margin to top of section */ .blog-masonry-wrapper { margin-top: 50px; } /* display block and positioning for title */ .blog-masonry-wrapper .blog-title { background-color:#fff !important; padding: 50px 30px 40px 30px; margin-top: -40px } /* center date element */ .blog-meta-section { width:100%; text-align:center; } /* date element styling */ .blog-masonry-wrapper .blog-date { background-color:#000 !important; position: fixed; z-index: 99; width: 80px; height: 15px; padding: 32.5px 0px; margin-top: -51px; margin-left: -40px; font-family: 'Roboto' !important; font-weight: 600 !important; font-size:0.8em !important; text-align:center; color:white !important; border-radius: 40px; } /* hide secondary meta info */ .blog-masonry-wrapper .blog-author { display: none !important; } what have I missed? Thanks in advance! -lh
  15. Site URL: https://www.drivenfilms.tv/blog/driven-films-goes-to-trc-street-kings-2020 Hello, I'm currently using the Polaris family template for my website and have recently setup a blog. Unfortunately I am seeing that all of my blog posts (not the main blog page) have no header image, thus making my white logo...invisible. Is it possible to upload a black version of my logo JUST for the individual blog posts?
  16. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/journal Hi, For some reason, the text columns and images on my blog page aren't even? The images on the left are smaller and the text width is more narrow? pass: trythis en

  18. Hi, I want to have multiple blog pages on my site but I would want them to have different site styles/designs. On one blog page I would like to have the posts shown as excerpts in a grid style while the on a separate blog page I would like to to have the posts stacked to show the pull post. I'm not sure if this is possible. Are there any plugins or codes that could achieve this? Thanks!
  19. Site URL: https://pelican-chiton-xwy4.squarespace.com/blog/esferica-vision-cities-sustainability Hello, I've created 3 blog posts at the moment and I'd like to do a few adjustments that'd affect them globally instead of having to keep adding specific "#block numbers" to each section's page individually. For example, I'd like to add a "margin-bottom" to the first image (attached) so it doesn't overlap with the text below. I can of course do it targeting #block-2ebecb79d07fed4c41d9 but this wouldn't apply to the other 2 pages since the #blocknumbers keep on changing for each page. I would like my client being able to add a new Blog post with having to worry about the layout getting messed up across devices. Is there any way that I can make adjustments globally to all pages?? Thanks! Xavier
  20. Hey, is it possible to ad a blog-page to an index page, so having the blog on the first page instead of putting it on a separate page in your navigation?? I'm using the Template Miller... thanks for any help! Cheers, Viola
  21. I'm trying to figure out how to add a custom font that will work in my Blog post's body content within a Text Block. I can only find advice on how to us custom font for a Blog post's title. I already have a custom font installed on my site's Custom CSS, set to H3, that works everywhere on my site except for the Blog. I'm using the Five template if that matters. Any help would be very appreciated, thanks in advance!
  22. The world of the Internet is changing every day. New strategies and approaches appear all the time, and anyone who creates a personality on the Internet is forced to constantly catch up with him. But there is one approach that began to gain momentum about three years ago, and it is still gaining momentum. In fact, it seems that on the basis of this single approach, more and more trends are being built to ensure that it remains at the center of the Internet world for years to come. I mean blogging, and this phenomenon is still gaining momentum. In addition, blogging platforms include more and more features that integrate blogs even deeper into the fabric of modern internet marketing. Between tags, trackbacks, and syndication, a blogger has everything he needs to create a massive online presence around the blog. The dramatic influx of bloggers in recent years has prompted more chronicle of their lives so that the whole world sees, and as a result, the total number of blogs has grown exponentially. The biggest problem for most bloggers is the lack of traffic. For a blog to bring any positive results, you need traffic, and it may be difficult for a new blogger to stand out from a huge sea of competitors. There are many things that bloggers can do to encourage people to visit their blogs, and this article will briefly cover three of them. The first need for a successful blog is regular posts, followed by good writing. I can share a good idea, I learned to write a lot and many of my friends turned to me “I need help in writing an essay” and I always helped and it gave me a very good experience, so try to take on any work in order to master writing skills anything. A blog that is updated once a week is not going to cut it; not in the modern world. Blogs that are noticed are active with frequent and well-designed posts. I think about it. People are there to read. They are there to gain access to someone else's life. It has a voyeuristic aspect, but the effect is lost when the reader’s view of the blogger is distorted by poor writing skills or poor grammar. The second thing a blogger needs to do to drive traffic to his blog is to register in all blog directories. Indeed, there are thousands of them, but a quick Google search on the word catalog of words will quickly give those directories that will attract the most traffic. I also included a list of the best blog directories on the TacticalExecution.com Links tab. Once registered, your blog becomes part of a huge community of bloggers, and traffic can be significant. The third thing bloggers need to do to get extra traffic is to join BlogRush. BlogRush is a syndication network where other related blogs are advertised on your blog and yours on them. The platform is free and operates on a syndicated loan system. By building traffic on your own blog, you earn credits to gain additional fame on other people's blogs. This is a great innovation in the blogging world, and you are strongly encouraged to sign up soon because future members who learn about BlogRush through your blog will become part of your referral network, which will increase traffic. Blogs are here to stay. Today there are blogs that receive over 700,000 unique visitors each month, and this provides countless other benefits for their creators. Creating a blog and informing the world about its existence is the first step towards creating your own audience. The three strategies listed above will go a long way towards starting the process. Good luck and happy blogging.

  25. Hi there! I'm trying to set up an online publication and can't figure out how to get my posts/articles from my pages (for example lets say I've got fashion features as one page, fashion news as another, fashion interviews as a third) to feature on my homepage where I want to have all my recent articles showing. I tried to use the portfolio and blog pages but can't figure it out other than literally having to create the post again on the homepage. Could someone please advise me on how I can get my articles to feature on the homepage, and also what kind of page I should be using as my homepage and what kind of pages would be best to use for my other page categories to make them link up? Many thanks, Hannah Edit: I'm currently using the 7.1 template Brower
