  1. Site URL: https://apricot-minnow-acst.squarespace.com/member-areas-4 Hi Everyone, I'm having an issue with an image looking strange when I am viewing the page on mobile. I am happy with how the "Freebie" block looks on desktop: ...But when I resize it on mobile it looks very small height-wise: The other blocks resize to an almost square shape and I would like something similar for the freebie bloack. Is there a way to achieve this when resized? Thanks!
  2. I have two pages with content that I need to merge. I'm hoping I can move the content from one page to the other to avoid rebuilding the content. I've been unsuccessful finding tips on how to do this...so maybe it's not possible? Would love some pointers! Thank you!
  3. Site URL: https://elk-carnation-c43w.squarespace.com/le-forum-des-journalistes-canadiens Is there a way to change the alignment of an image block card? I'd like the image to be to the left of the text instead of on top of it. I've tried CSS but nothing is working. I'd also like the card to be in the centre of the section. 4. Site URL: http://solucionesadi.com/ Hey guys, I'm new to squarespace and I'm interested in creating a web page that can show both type of projects that my company do. Just to give you an introduction, my company work as a construction general contractor but as well we sell energy and water efficiency solutions for the construction industry. I want to create maybe two "microsites", not sure if that is the correct description, but basically divide my landing page into two sides, one the GC side and the other one the Energy / Water Solutions. We will use the same URL, for example for one project will be xyz.com/water-energy-solutions and the other project will be xyz.com/construction Please find attached an example https://www.fraternapladis.mx/. I got the idea from this web. I'm looking forward for your comments on layouts or templates that I can work this out and as well CSS coding to make it happen. Thanks in advance, Francisco.
  5. Site URL: https://www.wapacklabs.com/feedburner What is a good FREE RSS Feed to use with SquareSpace? (Feedburner is under construction). And yes the feed link works (https://www.wapacklabs.com/feedburner) but the formatting in the feedburner is not being applied is there a secret? Or is their another good option? Thank you
  6. Site URL: https://www.drmichaelogorman.com/skin-cosmetic-consultations Our website is incredibly slow. I've done some tests but removing all the images on the page, apart from the logo which is tiny, and my Google PageSpeed Test results are still terrible... 63 on desktop and 32 on mobile. I've created many sites on other platforms including Hubspot and WordPress that are super fast (99 on desktop) and contain pages with lots of images. So I can see it's not the images. We have no custom code on this page of our site. We are using Google fonts, but so do my other sites. Squarespace say it's the images. I know it can't be. Has anyone else got the same issue? Basically we're not going to win at search with a Squarespace website.
  7. Site URL: https://alphashaving.com I want to add related products from other product pages - I though adding a summary block to the product page would do it... but how?
  8. Site URL: https://www.jonnehansson.com/ Hi, I have lately realized that the lines are very long to read. Before, I made line breaks by pressing Shift+Enter, and I think that is not the correct way to do, because the line breaks look weird on mobile. Is there a way to adjust the width of each text block or the entire page? I want to reduce the text block width on every "Selected works" sub-page, but, still want to keep the site width at 950 px. Thank you:) Jonne
  9. Site URL: https://watermelon-koala-napg.squarespace.com/bio-archidex Hello! I'm a decent programmer, although brand new to web dev and Squarespace. I'm working on a website and have ~50 pages that all need to be styled in the same way. Each page has roughly 6-7 blocks that need custom CSS (identical across those pages), and there will be more of these pages in the future. These block types are used in several other ways in those pages though, so they can't be edited on a block-type basis. I'm curious if there are recommended best practices for how to handle this. As far as I can tell, the first obvious option is putting the CSS in the Custom CSS Editor, which would centralize any future changes, but create a gigantic list of 300+ impossible-to-parse block ID references. The second option is to duplicate the CSS on each page in a Code Block, which creates isolated, clean code, but will require 50+ edits for any future changes. The ideal would be some way to tag blocks for targeted CSS, so each block with common CSS has a shared ID of some sort, and then I just apply CSS to that ID in the CSS Editor. There doesn't seem to be an immediately obvious way to do that though. Any suggestions for how to approach the above? Thanks for your help!
  10. Howdy. I'm trying to figure out how to add a short description beneath each product block, between the product name & price. So in this screenshot, for example, I want to add a one-line description beneath "Allergy" so this block reads: Allergy Soothes allergies & inflammation $29.99 The only similar built-in option I can find is to list the full description, which would add paragraphs of bloat per product in this grid. I've tried adding a text block underneath, but it doesn't read well / appears disconnected from the products due to spacing. Any suggestions?
  11. Site URL: https://www.uncagedbird.studio/ Strange behavior from my laptop, which I don't normally use for editing. The little plus signs don't appear for me when going into edit mode and hovering over a content block as per usual. See first photo. Also, when I first log in, my site page doesn't render in the RH pane as it normally does on my desktop. Instead, there's a horizontal bar on the bottom with the page title. In order to see the page, I have to swipe up. See second screenshot. Lenovo Yogabook C930 running Win 10 and Edge browser, both fully updated. Is this some sort of tablet version of the page that the Squarespace UI is switching to because of my weird device?
  12. Site URL: https://trailyardvalpo.com Hi, We created a custom template for our client to use on their Squarespace site. One issue we've ran into is how images are handled from the Admin & site editor. Right now, all of the images displayed on the site are uploaded to squarespace via the git repo, inside of the `assets` folder. When we tried to utilize the "Image Block" block-field to enable users to upload their own images within the site editor, we found that this also creates additional markup (A significant amount of markup) to the page. This ultimately breaks the layout we've created with our custom theme. Long story short, we're looking for a way to utilize the "Image Block" block-field, but to only output the image source in the "page.region" for the specified page. If we just get the source from Squarespace, we can use our own markup on the site.
  13. Site URL: https://koi-moose-nw8a.squarespace.com/ Hi! Can anyone help me get the three image blocks (green circles) on this page to align? https://koi-moose-nw8a.squarespace.com/screening-services Site password is: IWPCAPITAL TIA!!
  14. Site URL: http://www.jilliannickell.com My site is here http://www.jilliannickell.com And I'm actually fine with the Design section, but I want the Illustration image gallery style to have variable heights like this site: https://www.edwardkinsellaillustration.com/ I essentially just want to keep my current site, but I want variable thumbnail sizes like Edward's gallery. I like how mine functions otherwise, I don't want a side menu or a lightbox or anything. I just want different thumbnail sizes so my illustration images aren't cut off. I understand enough CSS to be able to copy and paste but don't know enough to know how to do this. Any tips?
  15. Site URL: https://www.oleiajewelry.com/ I'm having trouble figuring out how to adjust my Summary product block for Mobile. When I view it in Mobile mode, the contents are stacked instead of displayed horizontally. I want to keep the horizontal arrangement of the images for Mobile use (even if that means the text and images shrinking). Is anyone able to provide any insight on how I can update this on my website? The specific block is: #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1625238871313_6351 Appreciate any help!
  16. Site URL: https://thewargameclub.com I have a sizing issue on mobile that I would like to try and fix. The image block on desktop look great but when it's resized for mobile, it's far too large. I've tried copying all sorts of CSS, but can't get it to work. How do I fix it?
  17. Site URL: https://marigold-lime-snme.squarespace.com/ Hi, I am trying to flip the order of the image and text block in one of my columns on mobile. The current order is - text, image, image, text, text, image. On desktop this would be the middle column I am looking to change for mobile. I would like the order to be text, image, text, image, text, image. I have seen some answers in the forum but have had no luck making it work. Website details are below. https://marigold-lime-snme.squarespace.com/ PW: YpSfs5^w Thank you.
  18. Site URL: https://davidecapucci.com/ Hey there. Someone can help me. I generate new section on top with only one pic. I want the pic starting after the menu area with link. I cannot found the way the top of this pic/section starting after that and not from the Top of the page. I tied different CSS code but nothing change. I also add another empty section on top of this pic/section but i cannot reduce as i want. Check the pic below. Thank you.
  19. Site URL: https://www.thehabituallyelevated.com/habitually-gaming Below is the custom code I'm trying to list on my website: Glowing Animated Dots I've since made minor tweaks to try and adjust the appearance on the website but nothing as of yet. There is a full screen screenshot of my issue attached for reference. My website is The Habitually Elevated. I've watched several YouTube videos and have read several forums regarding what I thought was going to resolve my issue. Nothing has seemed to work so far... Maybe I'm simply confused or overlooking a small detail? The glowing dots are supposed to float around the page. My issue (as you can see) is how incredibly long the code block is that's on the page. Doesn't matter where on the page or which section the code itself is listed, same affect. Can some please help me to get my desired results? Thanks in advance!
  20. Hi! Is there any CSS to create an anchor link to a specific block within a section? Not to a section in that page; I have a lot of blocks in one sections and wanted to create an index that can link to the specific block it refers to rather than a different section. Thanks!
  21. Site URL: https://rainbowfaithandfreedom.org/file-download-page Hi everyone! I'm writing a "how-to" page for my peeps. It has numbered steps and then screenshots in between to show them what to click. Issue: numbering restarts in each new text block. Question: How do I make numbering continue from one text block to another? The block order is: <text block> - contains steps with the numbered list formatting applied. <image block> - shows a screenshot <text block> - continues to next step, but numbering restarts at 1. I want this number to continue from the previous step number. See the green highlights in the attached screenshot. Many thanks!
  22. Site URL: https://www.redcottageinc.com/all-upstate-ny-rentals#/easthill/ Hi, I love the layout of our desktop site, but on mobile the vertical stack is not ideal. I dont want to change the content on the page, I just want it to appear in a unique order on the mobile site without affecting the layout on the desktop site. How can I make two different layouts for each channel?
