  1. Site URL: https://www.roomone.ca/new Hi There, I've searched the forums but this is all very out of my area of expertise with coding. I am rebuilding my homepage but would like to know how I can get the images to go side by side when in mobile view. Either so that there are 2 images per row instead of the stacked 1 per row it does now. It just breaks things up too much and since my website viewers are mostly mobile I'd love to appeal to them. I'm referring to the image blocks under the main header that says 'Skincare Basics' and the products towards the bottom that says 'Tessa's Favs'. I know there is a work around with doing gallery blocks but I'd like text beneath them which seems to be lost with gallery blocks. Thank you and much appreciated! Tessa
  2. Site URL: https://lupatrattoria.squarespace.com I would like to customize the background, button & text colors for the OpenTable block in my website. Right now the block background doesn't match the page color & the button is black instead of dark grey. Thanks!
  3. Site URL: http://www.jilliannickell.com My site is here http://www.jilliannickell.com And I'm actually fine with the Design section, but I want the Illustration image gallery style to have variable heights like this site: https://www.edwardkinsellaillustration.com/ I essentially just want to keep my current site, but I want variable thumbnail sizes like Edward's gallery. I like how mine functions otherwise, I don't want a side menu or a lightbox or anything. I just want different thumbnail sizes so my illustration images aren't cut off. I understand enough CSS to be able to copy and paste but don't know enough to know how to do this. Any tips?
  4. Site URL: https://thewargameclub.com I have a sizing issue on mobile that I would like to try and fix. The image block on desktop look great but when it's resized for mobile, it's far too large. I've tried copying all sorts of CSS, but can't get it to work. How do I fix it?
  5. Site URL: https://emilie-iggiotti.squarespace.com/the-truth-in-you I saw this effect recently on a website (https://www.violahillstudio.com/) where the contents of two columns are vertically centered without using spacers. I've tried inspecting the code of the website and can't figure out how to achieve the same effect on a client's website. URL: https://emilie-iggiotti.squarespace.com/the-truth-in-you Password: emilie What I'm trying to do is in the index where the image block and text block appear beside each other, I would like to vertically center align the contents rather than have them align to the top of the index and have this effect maintain down to a screen size of 640px, after which the blocks stack on top of each other. I would ideally like to achieve this without the use of spacer blocks. I've attached an image that might help to explain this better. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Site URL: https://www.thehabituallyelevated.com/habitually-gaming Below is the custom code I'm trying to list on my website: Glowing Animated Dots I've since made minor tweaks to try and adjust the appearance on the website but nothing as of yet. There is a full screen screenshot of my issue attached for reference. My website is The Habitually Elevated. I've watched several YouTube videos and have read several forums regarding what I thought was going to resolve my issue. Nothing has seemed to work so far... Maybe I'm simply confused or overlooking a small detail? The glowing dots are supposed to float around the page. My issue (as you can see) is how incredibly long the code block is that's on the page. Doesn't matter where on the page or which section the code itself is listed, same affect. Can some please help me to get my desired results? Thanks in advance!
  7. Site URL: https://marigold-lime-snme.squarespace.com/ Hi, I am trying to flip the order of the image and text block in one of my columns on mobile. The current order is - text, image, image, text, text, image. On desktop this would be the middle column I am looking to change for mobile. I would like the order to be text, image, text, image, text, image. I have seen some answers in the forum but have had no luck making it work. Website details are below. https://marigold-lime-snme.squarespace.com/ PW: YpSfs5^w Thank you.
  8. Site URL: https://davidecapucci.com/ Hey there. Someone can help me. I generate new section on top with only one pic. I want the pic starting after the menu area with link. I cannot found the way the top of this pic/section starting after that and not from the Top of the page. I tied different CSS code but nothing change. I also add another empty section on top of this pic/section but i cannot reduce as i want. Check the pic below. Thank you.
  9. Site URL: https://faithstrongculture.com/test Hi! I looked through the various other posts regarding full bleed blocks and tried a whole bunch of proposed solutions that didn't pan out fo me. So here I am again. I have the video embedded via a video block with the code below. (Courtesy of Rebecca Grace) <iframe src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/*******?playlist=*******&autoplay=1&controls=1&loop=1&mute=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I would like that video block to display full screen just as it would if it were a banner video. Appreciate all you in the community! Kico
  10. Site URL: https://rainbowfaithandfreedom.org/file-download-page Hi everyone! I'm writing a "how-to" page for my peeps. It has numbered steps and then screenshots in between to show them what to click. Issue: numbering restarts in each new text block. Question: How do I make numbering continue from one text block to another? The block order is: <text block> - contains steps with the numbered list formatting applied. <image block> - shows a screenshot <text block> - continues to next step, but numbering restarts at 1. I want this number to continue from the previous step number. See the green highlights in the attached screenshot. Many thanks!
  11. Hi! Is there any CSS to create an anchor link to a specific block within a section? Not to a section in that page; I have a lot of blocks in one sections and wanted to create an index that can link to the specific block it refers to rather than a different section. Thanks!

I dont want to change the content on the page, I just want it to appear in a unique order on the mobile site without affecting the layout on the desktop site.   15. Site URL: https://www.oakpw.com/ Hello everyone, so I have this website oakpw.com. I use SEM Rush, a tool we use to measure the effectiveness of SEO on a website. I have 11 pages that it keeps coming back with that are being blocked from crawling. I’m not exactly sure how to fix this issue. I’m not a Squarespace expert, but I do know how to navigate through the CMS and such. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!   16. Site URL: https://www.betterpupsdogtraining.com/obedience Hi Squarespace Community! I need a vertical line between sections. I added, this CSS but it was overlapping on the mobile view. Thank you for your help. PAGE CODE: <div class="vl"></div> CSS CODE: // this is a vertical divider-line .vl { border-left: 2px solid #000000; // defines the width, style and color of the line (change the hex code [#303030] to match your site). height: 850px; // defines the length of the line. position: absolute; left: 50%; //move the line to the middle (50% of the page width) margin-left: -1px; //half the width of border witdth to ensure the line is precicely centered on the page. top: 0; }
  17. Site URL: https://www.davinepilates.com/about Hello, I would like to change the order in the 'About' section, 3rd section down where it says 'why I love pilates' on mobile to: image text image text Now it appears as text image image text Thanks for you help!
  18. I'm trying to edit the font size and general style of the scheduling block. I've tried doing this by referencing the block id in the Custom CSS panel and then adding code, as per this article https://www.kayleighnoele.com/blog/how-to-target-edit-and-apply-css-to-a-specific-block-on-squarespace but it's not working. Any suggestions as to how I target the scheduling block for CSS?
  19. Hello, I am attempting to change the code for my Audio Blocks in the Fiver template to match my site colors (I use the audio blocks to post episodes of a podcast.) I was able to change the background color of the main bar and the color of the tile font but can not seem to change the author text color, play button or progress bar (one trick was to realize the title font was set for the LIGHT setting, not the DARK setting of Audio block). Was hoping for some suggestions. Here's the code I've been using and thank you in advance Tim. .sqs-widgets-audio-player { background: #2f518f !important; background: -webkit-linear-gradient( #2f518f) !important; border: 02px solid #fff952 !important; border-radius: 0px 0px 0px 0px; color: #fff952; } .audio-author { color: #fff952 !important; } .audio-title { color: #fff952 !important; } .volume .bar.active { border-right-color: #fff952 !important; } .volume .bar { border-right-color: #fff952 !important; } .progress { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #707070 !important; } .controls { color: #fff952 !important; }
  20. Site URL: https://www.stripakademie.org/blog/theorie-poly-watte When placing an image block, the standard hover effect is a transparent dark grey, which means all text is easily readable. When placing a Slideshow Gallery block, the standard hover effect is nearly transparent, which means the white text is sometimes hardly readable on top of a complex image. I would like to change these font colours/hover background colors to match the image roll-over, and have a cleaner overall esthetic. Can't find the solution anywhere…
  21. Site URL: https://www.daretobegrey.com/home-office-en Hi all, So for a while now, I'm struggling to figure out how to arrange blocks on a page purely for mobile. The block arrangements are fine on desktop, but for two specific pages it leads to a skewed order on mobile. To be specific: For this project we're bundling 5 stories on an index section. Each of 5 stories has its own page with five components, which, on mobile, we'd like to see in the following order: <title> <video> <text> <button> <bubble image> Due to the arrangements for desktop, they're not presented as such for the second and fourth story, where we see the order being: <title> <text> <button> <bubble image> <video> Is there a way to place the video in these sections between the title and the text, in such a way that we can keep the current arrangement for desktop? Maybe good to mention as well that we already have a general, costum code in place that prioritises vertical arrangements to horizontal for mobile.
  22. Site URL: https://angelicadesign.co/ Hi guys! Desperately trying to figure out how to code the icon image blocks to sit on the left of the text blocks on mobile view (instead of stacking). Send HALP! Thanks in advance 🤖
  23. Site URL: https://shop.jonathan-gallagher.com/products/overview I'm using Brine. I am happy with the layout for tablets and larger, but on mobile I'd like the sizes of the image sections to all be equal, and the smaller size seems to work nicely. Currently it's too large, so doesn't invite scrolling. url: https://shop.jonathan-gallagher.com/products/overview password: jonjonjon I can't seem to find the correct div. Ideally just for this page/collection. Thanks for any assistance
  24. On the template I'm using gallery grids appear in 2 columns for desktop view and stay in these 2 columns when in mobile view. As you can see in the screenshot, I need the two columns to stack in columns of 1 when in mobile view, so that the content is more visable, how do I change this so its different for both screens please?
  25. Site URL: https://watermelon-clover-lj3m.squarespace.com/ I am making a grid using code blocks with html content (square image, with link). I cannot figure out how to make the code block fix itself or wrap the content. When the window changes in size, I am left with a huge horizontal gap in the grid. I want to make the grid have fixed and equal margins. Any help would be great!
