  1. Many versions of this question have been asked, but I'm a small business owner brand-new to Squarespace, I'm using 7.1, and so far none of the CSS solutions from previous versions of Squarspace seem to be working for me. I want to change the logo for individual pages - on my home page, I want my logo in its normal full-color form. For the rest of the pages, I want it to be all in white (this is to keep it visible against the backgrounds I'm giving it). I have the two separate versions of the logo (color and white). The color logo is currently on all of my pages, and the white logo is uploaded in my custom files. Is there a bit of CSS code that I can use to replace the logo in the header on any one page? Again, there are lots of answers to this already, but none are working, and I suspect it's because I am using 7.1. The answers all seem to be template-specific, but as far as I can tell, all of the templates are similar in 7.1, and I can't change my template to try different ones (??) Sorry if my question was confusing. Thank you!
  2. Hello! So my site is https://earthlycraft.co/ It's almost there... but i cant work one thing out. How to change one of my banner hero images for mobile. It looks great on desktop however its too small on mobile, so i have another logo ready thats zoomed right in that i'd like to use for mobile only. I've added the file in design > custom css > manage custom files so i can use the link to the file I'm fairly familiar with media queries but i don't know the code to change the banner. When I inspect I get this code: .sqs-block-image .image-block-outer-wrapper:not(.image-block-v2) .intrinsic .image-block-wrapper img Therefore i'm going for something along the lines of: @media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {.sqs-block-image .image-block-outer-wrapper:not(.image-block-v2) .intrinsic .image-block-wrapper img {background image: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d00032088447c0001487495/t/5dcdc90c40062f0cf29e9ddc/1573767446853/mobilelogo.png;}} Help would be much appreciated!! Cheers!!
  3. I'm wanting to change the color of my logo on my home page. I want it black on all the pages and white on the home page. My website is https://www.wrighttimberframe.com/ The white logo is currently a .png at https://scontent.faus1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/82092006_10220575138518784_2968545192992309248_o.jpg?_nc_cat=100&_nc_oc=AQkIidDZuBnUQTxjANIv_WsxMWiqkcghRdJRQWwngG0RqLuDUX03IgJpmiqwHCm-V-wQVc_B7N4_VtYnGUYOEio-&_nc_ht=scontent.faus1-1.fna&oh=e705c14711844416093edf34e4518979&oe=5E673403 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. My logo is light blue and black and it blends into the photo on the home page, so i want it to be white on the homepage and full color on the other pages. I have tried this code and it worked for the most part but it did not change the light blue part of the logo to white. I would need the "TAD" to be white as well. .homepage .Header-branding-logo { -webkit-filter: invert(100%); filter: invert(100%); filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(invert='1'); } Any suggestions?
  5. Hi all, I want to have a different logo on my header ones you scroll down. This is the case; The background of my website is dark, but if you scroll down, a white header appears. But because the background of the logo changes from dark to white, the logo is not nice on one of these backgrounds. Because of this I have created another logo and I want to add this in a way that if I scroll down, the logo also changes to the other logo with another logo. Basically; If I scroll down I want to see the alternate logo on my header. [See attachment] [I don't know if this is relevant] But, I have created the white moving header by using custom CSS
  6. Hey Everyone! Ok, so here goes... I am pretty new to Squarespace - I loaded up a 7.0 Template, not sure how or why I did this. But, as I did - I started designing within the 7.0 designer. First thing that I want to do is add a "Cover Page". I look through the list and immediately like the "Prism" option. Of which, you can add in as many photos as you like, it randomises these everytime the webpage is loaded and you can add in your logo and hyperlinks/buttons over the top (and you can change the opacity over the background) - you guys may know this already - but I will attach an image. Anyways, I discovered that the layouts in 7.0 weren't what I was looking for so was kind of disappointed - little did I know that 7.1 was a completely different ball game (didn't even know it existed!). So have now started another site with a 7.1 template - the whole site is now great, but there's no "Cover Page" option in 7.1 (queue tears). So I can't add in my newly found love of the Prism Cover Page - literally have been dreaming of this page. Spoke to the very helpful support team on live chat and they went off and had a look and got back to me and said there was no option like it yet, but it may be possible via code. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can create the effect? I did just screenshot it - but obviously the way it was, it was completely changing every time the page loaded, as well as obvious being screen size adaptable. Any help would be great! Thankyou.
  7. Hi! I'm very new with Squarespace and I have found it quite easier to work with 7.1 version. I have a personal blog, I have built a home page, and the blog separately. I would really like to use to a different (or at least a different logo) on the blog page and each blog post. Is there a possibility of doing it with CSS? I'm not code-savvy at all, so I'd appreciate anyone's help.
  8. My logo for my site is white and it doesn't show up on all the pages other then my homepage so I'm trying to find a way to put a color logo on other pages then the home page, http://www.sparkleaders.org/about/ Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks,Amir
  9. Greetings, My site is https://kerleyschaffer.com/ Theme: Impact I need to change the logo link in the header navigation to point to a different URL instead of the default home page. I've seen other answers using various javascript code, but I wasn't sure if that code was Theme specific. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Eric
  10. Hi, I am trying to use CSS to input a unique logo on my heights pages (to account for a change in background color). I am wondering if anyone has any advice on how I might do this. This is the script I've been working with but realize it may be different for the Heights template. Thank you! <script> $(function(){ $(".logo-title").attr("src", "https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5dad1eacd179083779ea82e7/t/5dc04150ece90e0e11b877d4/1572880720523/Knife+Wizards-logo+%281%29.png"); }); </script>
  11. I'm actually dying to know as well. I love the template, but I need just some some pages with a different logo, and background color.
  12. Thanks for the additional information @Jessiebg. Unfortunately you cannot make any changes to the page in your screenshot other than using different Site Styles (see Design > Checkout Page). No code can be added because the page is completely locked down to maintain payment security. Note that the site logo (top centre in your screenshot) should automatically function as a link.
  13. My website (I'm using the Hyde template) mainly uses a white logo, however on some pages this means that the logo pretty much disappears into the white background. I've managed to get a darker version of the logo onto the majority of pages that need it, however I can't seem to find a way to add it to the search pages? Example of what I mean I tried using the same code for the dark logo on the product pages in the custom CSS box, but that ended up changing all the logos throughout my site to the dark logo. Thanks in advance for your help!
  14. Hi there, I'm working on this website: https://www.aarondatufilms.com/ The client wants that logo image (the one in the center) to display like that on the desktop version, but on mobile only the "A". Is there a way to show a different image on mobile? Thank you! Cynthia
  15. Please can someone help us :-) with out draft website design for a new Nordic inspired holiday home >> https://fennel-dragonfly-prjz.squarespace.com Our 'Nordic Farmhouse' logo is white on the home page on a full image but we'd like a black or grey version on the other pages as the white doesn't show up on a white background obviously. I've been given this answer by support, when I paste this CSS code in my white logo turns black on the homepage and I want it to turn black on other pages? Is there an easy way to update the code for only the pages I'd like to invert the colour? Answer provided by SS support >> https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/204948/changing-logo-colour-on-different-page.html ie can I update the first line from .homepage .Header-branding-logo { to .gallery...etc for example? I can't work it out? .homepage .Header-branding-logo { -webkit-filter: invert(100%); filter: invert(100%); filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(invert='1'); }
  16. Hi - I want to use a different, stacked version of my logo on the mobile version of my site in the Avenue template. Does anyone have CSS code for this?Thank you
  17. hi all, I use Version 7.0– Brine family (Margot template) and added a custom CSS to the pages I want to use my logo in a different color with the following code since some of my backgrounds are lighter/darker. <script> $(function(){ $(".Header-branding-logo").attr("src","https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d4b2ba2bd52f20001f646b1/t/5d60640d5228b00001b48ca5/1566598157161/VIPOUTDOORLOGO.png"); }); </script> It was working perfectly while I was still offline, but after I published my website it started to gave an error. I have to refresh the page I have this code on to make it work. However, it also changes the pages I don't have code on (whites turn black). The website link is: https://www.vipoutdoormedia.com/ . I uploaded white version directly from the settings, so black version is the one with custom CSS code. Any help would be appreciated.
  18. Hi everyone, I need your suggestions 🙂 . I've been contacted by a client to be whose site has been designed on SS 7.0 with Brine (not by me). Their compagny is growing and today they have 3 activities on one single site. They would like to separate the 3 activities while keeping (if possible) one single site. So their request is : 1) have a welcome page with these 3 activities only 2) have a different visual identity ie logo and navigation menu for each of the 3 activities. I have no problems with doing 1) but I'm not sure about 2) : you can have distinct logos on different pages ? or distinct navigation menus ? So far the options I have in mind is design a welcome page with the 3 options and hide header/footer with css, and redirect each to an index page. I can add a different logo on each index page but not sure about the navigation menu. I've been given the advice to hide some elements of the menu with css but not sure how to do that ? Thanks for your suggestions !
  19. Hey Squarespace Circle peeps! Has anyone ever found a way to utilize different versions of their logo at the same time? In other words, I'd like to use the all white version of my logo on pages with dark background/banner images and the color version on pages with light/no banner image. Does that makes sense at all?
  20. Hello! I am currently using the Mentor template in the Brine family. I would like to stack a logo directly above the nav menu, on the header banner image. Right now, you can see that the logo is centered above the nav, but it has a different background colour because it's against the background, not on top of the banner image. That is because the logo's position is "top center" while the nav's position is "bottom center". When I change the logo to "bottom center" and keep the nav at "bottom center" it looks like this, which isn't what I'm aiming for: Does anyone have any advice on how to achieve the desired result? Thank you.
  21. Is there a way to have Different Logo image on Each Page on the Native template?
  22. Hi, Guys. I've just published my website and everything seems cool, except for the Hamburger Menu on a few mobile devices. It should appears in the right corner but it's placed under the logo but only in iPhones with bigger screens. I've already tried to open in Safari and Chrome from 2 different devices (iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 8 Plus). It shows correctly on smaller iPhones (tested on iPhone 5 and iPhone 7). On Androids it seems to work properly. I've also try using a smaller logo for mobile version but still getting the same result. Searched for some light on Forum but no one was talking about that. I'm including a screenshot of the problem. Thanks in advance!
  23. Hello i am desperately trying to move my logo to the left (instead of my hamburger icon i would like to click on the logo and the menu drop down) i am using the fulton template. If this is not possible even just to align the logo to the left. I also want the logo to be a different colour on the home page as it is on all the other pages (white on home page black or other colour on the rest) I have been trying for days at my last resort. thank you to anyway who can help
  24. @AustinRandall: Tuan is correct that it is easiest to provide (and test) solutions if you provide a site/page URL and the view-only password if applicable @basakatac: You might consider asking a new question instead (and providing the info mentioned). You may also find the following helpful, since this question has been asked quite a number of times before. Although the exact CSS used varies based on template, version and your logo, the methods still apply. Methods used include: Using :before and/or :after pseudo elements Using CSS Filters (best if simply inverting black to white or vice versa, but will work for some color logos) Using Javascript to change src attribute In general, if using the CSS Filters approach (#2), you can target the logo in 7.1 like so (using your own collection-ID as applicable). By including the collection ID in the CSS, you no longer have to worry about only adding the CSS to specific pages, because the rule itself specifies which pages to apply to. #collection-5d9e907ec1f67f503cab5fc8 .header-title-logo img { /* For black/white */ -webkit-filter: invert(100%); filter: invert(1); /* Or for converting color to white, something like this (depends on logo) */ // filter: grayscale(100%) brightness(350%); } Where to I insert this code? You add it via the CSS Editor How do I find my collection ID? You can identify the collection ID by using your browsers developer tools/inspector and viewing the ID of the <body> element. The other methods listed above (#1 and #3) are also viable. 25. Hi! Looking for some help with logo variation in the flatiron template. Here are the few things I'd like to accomplish: Have the logo on the HOME PAGE ONLY be centered. Have the logo in the HOME PAGE ONLY be different than the logo on all other pages. Have the logo on all other pages be placed in the top right. I used this answer to help me center the logo - but it centered it on all pages. Can someone help me here? I'm reasonably familiar with dropping images in and out of CSS/customizing heights and widths, I just don't know where to begin with writing it myself.
