  1. I finally got links to work - but the whole page is still crashing when I try to save / edit Markdown blocks. I have a lot of FAQs - so it's going to be a long block. I either need the markdown not to crash - or a different method of creating collapsible/accordion style FAQs. thanks!
  2. Hi all, I'm trying to create a collapsible FAQ section using markdown blocks. The collapsing part works fine. However, Every time I try to add a hyperlink inside of a markdown block, the page freezes and I have to restart my browser. Can anyone else replicate this error and/or offer advice? This is the page I'm working on - https://redesign-90-day-biz.squarespace.com/program-20. Thanks!
  3. Hi @SophieTW! Here is the site: https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/ This client has specific needs for different footers on different pages, posts etc. The first thing I did was edit the footer, adding all footer sections on top of each other. THEN, depending on the page, I hid certain footer sections with css. 1. For regular pages (not blog posts), I would use the Squarespace ID Finder to find the ID# for the whole footer SECTION and then hide that in the CSS. (Squarespace ID FInder is the only block id tool I've seen that includes SECTION ID's (for 7.1) in addition to regular block IDs.) For example, I added this in Custom CSS to hide one section of the footer on the home page: #collection-5f517693044378025220a034 section[data-section-id="6064c7ac6f681445cba7a9d3"] /*hide footer on home page */ { display: none !important; } 2. For Blog Posts, I would still use the Squarespace ID Finder to find the ID# for the whole footer SECTION and then hide that in the CSS - but I had to just put the code in a different area! Pages --> Blog --> Settings (Gear Icon) --> Post Blog Item Code Injection. (see screenshot.) <style> /* footer changes*/ section[data-section-id="5fa45f47e86b2736c8aa4259"] { display: none !important; } </style> Obviously, for all of those data section IDs, you need to locate your section ID using that the Squarespace ID Finder. Hope this helps! Rachel
  4. @tuanphan and @caig - You are both amazing. Thanks Tuanphan for all of the help and insight and Caig, for summarizing perfectly for me! My Search Page is finally fixed! Thanks!! Rachel
  5. 1. First off - thanks for the response. Really appreciate it! I've had this one on my mind for a long time. Sadly, I couldn't get that code to work. It should be in there now if you want to check it out. https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/search 2. Regarding my pop ups, yeah those have been a little icky for a while. Embarrassed you noticed! 🙂 If you have any advice, I'm all ears! 🙂
  6. Hi friends, I'm still trying to change the background color of the header on the /search page, if anyone has advice! Thank you! 🙂 https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/search You can get to the search page by going here https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/articles and searching for any term. Thanks! Rachel
  7. I just want to upvote the idea of adding Tik Tok and Discord to the Social Media blocks!
  8. This site is on the Business Plan - thanks!
  9. Hi al! This is still unresolved. I'd love some help as I've tried a bunch of stuff to no avail. 🙂 Here is a little more info: When you add a blank new page in 7.1, the top section of the page defaults to "White Minimal" color section. It seems that this /search page defaults to "White minimal" as well. On this particular website - "white minimal" is set to have white navigation text and a white background color. This is because all of my other pages have header images so the white on white isn't a problem. Unfortunately, you cannot do either of these things: a) add a header image to the /search page b) change the color of the top section to the /search page (for example to "White Bold") Any ideas? Here is the link: https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/search?q=social media&f_collectionId=5f753f63cd2d631e09f9c037
  10. Hey all! I'm having a similar issue here. I need to change the background color of the header on the /search page but can't figure out how to do it. Articles Blog page: https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/articles Search results page: https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com/search?q=social&f_collectionId=5f753f63cd2d631e09f9c037 I added a Search function to the Articles blog, and the Search results page (/search) is showing White on white text in the header - and therefore, you cannot see the Navigation. Any ideas how to get the header to Light Minimal or Light bold? The only target ID i can find is #yui_3_17_2_1_1612820908662_89 and i can't get it to do anything. I've attached screenshots of 1) all white header, as well as 2) me mousing over the nav so you can see invisible nav. This is somewhat urgent as it's live on the client's site. THANK YOU!
  11. Site URL: https://www.90daybusinesslaunch.com Hi all! PW: Peaceout$2020 I'm adding HTML to my site-wide header that is creating a pop-up on the website. We'd like for the pop-up to be excluded, however, from appearing on a few pages. This pop up is going to change somewhat often. Therefore, rather than going in and adding this code on each individual page's header code, i'd like to put it in Site-wide header, with some Javascript that says to exclude the html from pages x,y,z. Can anyone provide JS that could make that happen? ( Could filter by page name or Page Content ID number?) This is the code for my pop-up that is injected into site-wide header: <a href="#lightbox_popups2" data-timeout="3" data-expires="30" class="js-auto-open-lightbox" hidden></a> I am using the Lightbox Anything plug-in . Thank you! Rachel
  12. Can you add a link to your site? It'll be much easier to help you out!
  13. Hey smarties! I am looking for a few plugins if you got em! 🙂 I have a client who wants me to build and style a bunch of different promotional pop-ups. She'll only display one at a time - but we have to have them built and saved, and then we can choose the correct one when it's time to promote that specific event. (Since she wants multiple pop-ups that are saved in there, I was steering away from the Squarespace built in promotional pop up.) A Countdown timer plug-in that can be customized to look like the screenshot attached. Thanks! Rachel
  14. Nevermind! I actually figured out how to do all of this using Advanced injection code in the different blogs. I should be all set. Thanks again!
  15. As a follow up (please ignore if you're busy, you've helped so much as is!) Is there an option to... Have one footer appear on blog posts ONLY but appear on no other pages? (i.e. instead of the CSS saying to hide a certain footer on every page, the CSS would say Show this footer only if the page is ___.) Display the "How to Launch Your dream business" footer on certain pages but hide it from all on blog posts? Distinguish between different blogs? I have 2 blogs - one called Articles and one called Case studies - and my client would like different footers on the posts from one blog vs the other. THANKS again!
  16. YOU ARE A GENIUS! Sorry for the delayed response. Finally tried this and it worked so well. That chrome extension is great. I've been using a simlar one for years (Squarespace Collection/Block Identifier) but it didn't include these sections in it. (Perhaps it hasn't updated for 7.1). In any case - Thank you so much!
  17. Site URL: https://redesign-90-day-biz.squarespace.com/ Site Password: WhorunTheWorld2? Hi smarties! I have a client in 7.1 who wants different pages to display different footers. Each footer has a few stacked Sections. So, for example - on one page, it may show 3 stacked sections in the footer but on other pages, only 2 stacked sections. I'm having trouble figuring out how to target ONE specific footer section to hide/display. Do they have identifiers I'm missing? Example - You can see 3 footer sections on the Home Page: section of footer - "how to launch your dream business in uncertain times?" section of footer - instagram feed (currently white /blank) section of footer - classic footer w/ navy blue background, copywright info etc. How do I hide just #1 of that footer on the HOME PAGE? But keep #2 and #3? Thanks so much! Rachel
  18. @bangank36 - I can't thank you enough for your help!! This worked beautifully.
  19. Site URL: https://redesign-90-day-biz.squarespace.com/about https://redesign-90-day-biz.squarespace.com/about pw: WhorunTheWorld?2 If you scroll down to the "How to launch your dream business in Uncertain Times..." - you'll see a form embedded there. (it's pulling from Active Campaign.) Attached is a screenshot of how the designer would like this to look. I am having all sorts of trouble getting this to look center-aligned, especially in mobile. Even harder is to get the button to appear on a second line - but as long as it's center-aligned, that's what is most important. Since it's embedded (via a code block), I have little control over the html - more control over the CSS. Can anyone help me out? Thank you in advance! Rachel
  20. I see that you hid the arrow on your Read More links. I am trying to do the same. Care to share?
  21. Thank you! That worked - I can't believe i didn't find that myself. Thanks again.
  22. Hi all, I need some help with this too! I am using a text block to add a "footer navigation" but I'm having some trouble w/ the styles. I got the spacing to look good but can anyone help remove the text-decoration underline? I cannot get it to disappear! I basically want it to mock the header nav. Look at the FOOTER: https://redesign-90-day-biz.squarespace.com/ pw: WhorunTheWorld? Here is the css I'm using: /* FOOTER */ footer h3 a:link { text-decoration: none!important;} footer h3 a:visited { text-decoration: none!important;} footer h3 a:hover { text-decoration: none!important;} footer h3 a:active { text-decoration: none!important;} footer h3 a:not(:first-child) {margin-left: 2.5vw;} It's using a custom font, but that shouldn't effect the text-decoration. Thanks! Rachel
  23. This goes into the fact that t\here needs to be a more robust DELIVERY section of the Commerce product overall. Everything is hacks and no matter what, the checkout page still has words like "SHIPPING" in it - even if we are doing delivery or pickup. I'm trying to set up a delivery website and the custom checkout form has all the delivery info in it. Using that Form, and you can add a "date" field for delivery - but there is nothing to stop the user from putting a date in the PAST! This Commerce product seems to only be geared to shipping and it would be so helpful to do delivery and pickup updates...
