KOHESION started following Do I use Acuity Scheduling or Service Products...
-
Hi, can anyone assist (I have not set up Acuity Scheduling before); Below in the screenshot are the details for my clients upcoming group classes I need to add to his ecommerce website. He signed up to Acuity which I began to set up but am now wondering if Acuity is the way to go... His group classes run each Saturday, for a set number of months and full payment is required by each person, prior to them joining their first scheduled Saturday class. They don't need to book in each Saturday - so does this mean I should be using Squarespace's Service Products instead?

Hi again Paul - I've just been chatting with Stripe relating to customer sales data sharing between SS and them. I asked them : If a customer has an account with SS and makes an online purchase via the stripe payment integration button at checkout - is that purchase info recorded against the customers account on Squarespace? They answered : Yes, that should be right, but also asked me to check with SS so I am still unsure - can you confirm that info, by any chance? It sounds like from their answer a third party API is not required to make them talk to each other? Or am I confusing terminology?! Apparently Stripe POS is available to users in Australia and they told me I could possibly create an integration to push sales data from POS sales to customer accounts in Squarespace. I'm not sure how that would work though as the customer wouldn't be logged in to their account during a POS sale. Are you aware of any API's that would allow that to be possible? Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for the tranparency, not ideal no! Any idea when this may be possible? Is it possible to at least with online purchases made then - have that data recorded against customers with SS accounts? are you aware of any other australians with the same needs and what their best practices are?

Hi, I am located in Australia. I am seeking the best way to offer commerce to my clients but am finding it difficult to please all 4 of my clients common commerce needs all together…Am wondering if anyone can shed light on the below... 1) Products created in their squarespace commerce integration + 2) A payment gateway / processor that works in australia and accepts both eftpos and credit cards online and at point of sale + 3) feeds that sales data into a finance management software (usually Xero but i’d be open to suggesting clients use one that might fit better?) + 4) shipping calculation integration (only possibly via API’s I think?) I don’t want to set up products twice - once in Squarespace then again in whichever payment processor is chosen I would like online AND point of sale purchases to be recorded against customer’s Squarespace accounts - this is for marketing purposes because that way, mailing lists can be segmented according to product’s purchased and subscribers who have purchased can be email targeted according to which products they bought and are / might be interested in. I don’t want (and clients don’t want) to create products twice - once in squarespace and once in the payment processor. Can you help me solve this integration nightmare?!

My client sells beer products from their Squarespace website and they want to run a competition. They are running a stand at an upcoming beer and barbeque event next month. Whilst selling beer at the event, they want to encourage people to sign-up to their mailing list by offering new subscribers who have just bought a beer, a free beer when they visit their onsite tap room. In addition, those who sign up at the event, will be entered into a competition to win one of 6 brewery tours. So far, I think the process could go like this.... 1) Each time someone buys a beer at the stand, they are asked by staff to scan a QR code. That QR code links to a specially created competition form on an un-linked web page which; 1) Creates them an account on the website 2) Captures their email, address and phone number 3) Which then triggers Squarespace to automatically email that new customer account holder a gift card / discounted product / one-use coupon (I'm unsure which to use - any ideas?) for their free tap room beer. I'm stuck on a few things though… 1) how to automatically make that new customer account holder a part of the competition? 2) How to trigger the one-use coupon or gift card to the account holder and have their name attributed to it (so no one else can use it) 3) how to redeem the gift card / discounted product / one-use coupon in the tap room point of sale Can anyone please shed some light or better ways to do this?

Bulk change 1 colour appearing in a colour theme to another colour
KOHESION replied to KOHESION's topic in Pages & Content
Thanks Ziggy - I am trying change all instances of one colour to another in all themes - rather than going through and manually changing each instance of the colour. Is there a way to do this that you are aware of? Also, you can see in the screen shot below that I have a dark colour set to the bottom right yet the buttons are not utilising this colour, they are instead a staight black? This doesn't make sense to me why this is happening? Do you know why and how I can fix this?
