Not only the address but all others legal mentions as well...
    all of this bad..
First the Vat must be added manually then you need to send manually a proper invoice for each order...
Squarespace please wake up because there are huge flows with your e-commerce interface.......

It would be so great to be able to customise the printed packing slip to match the customer emails.

If we have the ability to customise the order emails to match our site and branding there must be a quick way for Squarespace to implement this, surely?

    I have the same issue.
It's important that the printed order confirmations I send with my orders have my logo included.
Eager for Squarespace to resolve this.

Just throwing in my two cents here. I legally have to include a printed receipt with every package, as my products are subject to inspection by the department of agriculture. In this setting, it's pretty nice to have branding on the receipt to identify my company consistently with branding elsewhere on labels. As you've already mentioned, our white logo doesn't appear well on printed receipts. I would be totally happy using a header background color as opposed to an image substitution as well.
We print directly out of the Squarespace platform without any 3rd party integrations, primarily using Google Chrome.

I'm also looking for a solution here for a client's new website - many other platforms offer customisable/branded packing slips etc. Dissapointing that this isn't an option with Squarespace, or to edit the invoice/receipt page. Can anyone recommend the best extension to use here? 🙏 Thanks

It still isn't possible to do this within the Squarespace platform, but if you can tell me a little about how they print them, it may be possible to provide you with a workaround.
For example, do they print from a computer, tablet or phone? Which OS? Do they print from the app or a browser? Which one?

samuelsparrow reacted to Resk in Adding the Klarna "Pay later" option - European Squarespace shop owners
    Hi Squarespace,
As a small business owner business owner and seller of "luxury" items, I'm experiencing that upwards of 5/10 of my customers are asking for "Pay later" options.
This topic has been lingering since 2019. For us, who live in Europe and mostly cannot accept Afterpay, because of Stripe restrictions. The only option currently is Klarna, which we can accept through Stripe.
Please, squarespace and any other with interest in this topic - upvote this threat to get the attention from Squarespace developers.
This is one of those items, which I do not believe has any significant development effort (as it is managed by Stripe) - yet it would make a huge difference. I think I'm not alone when I say that I do not want to be creating workarounds to enable this, e.g. by creating a separate Shopify shop to accept Klarna. This option is as "extensive" as simply changing ecommerce platform.

Please escalate this issue and bring it up your development pipeline. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Still no solution to change the logo of the printed orders?
I'm the one for whom the site logo is white ... no luck for me.

@paul2009 I recognise the need to reduce paper consumption. However, when fulfilling a batch of orders it's really helpful to print all the slips, pop them in each box and work through the orders - it makes it much easier to manage the process and keep track of each order/customer.
The option to style these to match the emails our customers receive would be the ideal solution - alternatively just the option to add our logo (like we had before the update).
    Thanks.

Prior to 22nd September 2020 it was possible to style printable invoices. You could add/edit your business logo using a line of HTML in Commerce > Customer Notifications > Header and Footer.
This feature was removed when the new email composer was introduced - regardless of whether you have upgraded to it - and any customisations that you used were removed.
There's now a feature gap between the notifications that are emailed to customers and the notifications that are sent to store owners. The customer notifications can be customised with ease whereas the merchant notifications, including the printable invoices, can only be styled by Squarespace. In their words, they are "not designed to be customizable". In summary, this may be a good time to stop printing paper invoices.
However if printed invoices are essential to your business operations, I'll be interested to hear why you need them and what you need to customise. If there is sufficient demand, Squarespace may change their stance, or I may be able to build a solution.
Why do you need printable invoices? What do you use them for? How do you need to customise them? What do you need to add? What device do you print them from? Which browser or app, and on which device?

It's absurd that order printouts can't be edited. My order printouts are displaying my OLD business name and  address.
Squarespace promotes itself as easily customisable, yet this is a major deficiency.
Does anyone have a workaround? On my Shopify store, I've edited the order invoice so that I can print it on an A4 sheet, fold it twice and put it in a 'document enclosed' envelope with the customer address showing. So it is both an invoice and shipping label.
How do people look professional when shipping Squarespace orders? What am I missing?

samuelsparrow reacted to Bartjan in International or custom date formats (aka ISO 8601)
I'm from europe and wondering why I have to use the weird american date format. If squarespace heavily advertises in europe, I'd think they'd cater to our date-format needs too. I'm a bit disappointed at this. It's one of these things that makes me feel not being taken seriously as a user. In a blog index I'd like to be able to show/hide dates in general, but also customize the format of the dates. I hope anyone who reads this can fix this, for all of us non-north-americans - aka the rest of the world. Cheers.
