No, and I didn't contact support. I've been using the tagging system instead of categories to get around it.

Unless someone can point me to what I'm doing wrong, I will contact support directly. Here's a screen recording of what I'm doing.

I followed the instructions and it is still not saving the category. I'm having to use Tags at the moment for sorting posts.

I'm having this same problem. I've created categories, hit the check mark and then it disappears before I can hit "Save".
