  1. paul2009's post in Help With Organizing Main Page/Folder was marked as the answer
It looks as though you've created several store pages instead of creating just one store page. If that's the case, your customers will only be able to view one of these stores at a time (Tops, Jeans and so on).
If you create one Store page (called Store) and then place all your products into it (all the tops, jeans, etc) you can then categorise each product by adding a category. When they are all on the same page, you'll be able to show all the products together or filter them by their category. Squarespace 7.1 supports nested categories, so you'll be able to have a Mens >Jeans page as well as a Womens Jeans view.
You can move products from one store page to another easily. See this guide: Moving products between pages.
  2. paul2009's post in Code for Copyright using Markdown was marked as the answer
If you want to add the copyright symbol to appear in a Markdown Block you can simply type © and it will appear.

  3. paul2009's post in trouble pointing my url to SS DNS was marked as the answer
The NS records decide who hosts your domain name, not your website. These should not be changed. If Etisalat host your domain name, these should point to the Etisalat nameservers.
If you aren't sure how to change the DNS records then I recommend that you contact Etisalat for support.
  4. paul2009's post in Is there custom code to send email information from Form Block to Profiles??? was marked as the answer
For now, you cannot collect them using a standard Form Block.
  5. paul2009's post in Data entry for each service product was marked as the answer
If the tickets are added as 'Service' products and the Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products setting is disabled (in Commerce > Checkout) then customers will be forced to add one ticket at a time, and complete the form for each ticket.
  6. paul2009's post in Line thickness on products page was marked as the answer
The border on the product list page (Workshops) is black, but it only has 30% opacity which means that it looks grey. You should be able to fix this by setting the opacity to 1 (100%). You can do this by adding the following to Design > Custom CSS:
    .tweak-products-category-title .products.collection-content-wrapper .nested-category-title.nested-category-title-padding::after { opacity: 1; }

  7. paul2009's post in Apply custom CSS to scheduling block was marked as the answer
The Squarespace Custom CSS panel will not affect anything within a Scheduling block. This is because Scheduling is a different product, built on a different platform. In Scheduling, there's a separate Advanced CSS panel where you can add CSS, but it's only available on the highest Powerhouse plan ($45/$50 per month).
For more information about CSS and Scheduling, see https://developers.acuityscheduling.com/docs/css-customization
  8. paul2009's post in Too many H1s on all pages was marked as the answer
Your site will have three. This is normal on the Om template, and shouldn't cause any issues.
The H1 title that you manually added as well as the site titles on desktop and mobile (one for each - both load even though only one is visible).
  9. paul2009's post in Requirement to add email address before downloading a file was marked as the answer
You can do it in a number of ways:
Use a form (or newsletter block) to collect their email address, and provide the link to the download on the post-submit page. The downside with this option is that they could input a fake email address and they'd still see the download link. Use a form to collect their email address, send their details to a mailing list service (such as MailChimp) and configure the mailing service to email them the link.
  10. paul2009's post in DONATIONS: Change payment label in Stripe from "Donation by" to "Adoption by" was marked as the answer
You can see the Donation Block Title when you export a list of donations to a csv file from Squarespace, but the text “Donation by {email address}” is sent to Stripe by Squarespace and is fixed. It cannot be changed.
  11. paul2009's post in Member Area Language? was marked as the answer
Member Area features should appear in the site's native language. If the site is set to German and the Member Areas elements are appearing in English then I recommend you contact Squarespace Customer Care to report this. They will be able to access the site backend and investigate.
  12. paul2009's post in Can you change the storage settings for a custom checkout form? was marked as the answer
    No, this is not possible.
Custom Checkout Form data can only be saved to the order details within Squarespace.
  13. paul2009's post in Google Workspace Migration was marked as the answer
If you cancel your Google Workspace service with Squarespace, they'll transfer your account to Google. At that point, you can continue service with Google.
For more information see Cancelling your Google Workspace account.
  14. paul2009's post in How to remove the "all" category on the store was marked as the answer
This is very easy to achieve. You do not need code.
Go to the PAGES panel and click the + icon beside MAIN NAVIGATION.
    Choose Link.
In the Link box, add the following details and click SAVE:

The LINK TITLE is the name that you chose for the item in your navigation. The link /shop/unique-pieces is for the first category in your shop.
Now, move your original Shop Art store page (the one with the cart icon) from the MAIN NAVIGATION section into the NOT LINKED section.
You should now have the functionality that you wanted. Clicking Shop Art should take you straight to the Unique Pieces section, with this highlighted in the category list on the left.

  15. paul2009's post in Why does version 7.1 not support develop mode? was marked as the answer
If you need Custom Post Types then you'll need to use Squarespace 7.0. This version is still available. The newer version of Squarespace (7.1) does not (and will not) have Developer Mode.
  16. paul2009's post in Lock Screen Styles was marked as the answer
You can change these on Squarespace 7.0 sites, but these options are yet to be added to Squarespace 7.1. It would be worth logging a request with Customer Care if you need this feature, as that is how they collate feature requests.
In the meantime, you can only modify the page by manually adding CSS via Code Injection. To do this, go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Lock Screen and add the CSS within style tags.
  17. paul2009's post in Where in the world is the Shopping Cart page?! was marked as the answer
The cart page doesn’t exist in the same way as other pages. It is created dynamically by code when a user clicks on the cart icon.
However, to add CSS simply visit the cart page to show the /cart page and then open the Custom CSS panel. Note that you may need to save your CSS and refresh your browser before style changes appear in the preview window.
  18. paul2009's post in Shopping cart not showing on mobile was marked as the answer
On the Montauk template, the cart icon is hidden until an item is added to the cart. When an item is added, a cart footer appears on mobile devices. However, I see that you've added a Memberspace login to the bottom of your site, and this is currently covering your cart. You may want to consider repositioning one of these so they can co-exist. With Memberspace removed, it looks like this:

  19. paul2009's post in Sitemap missing ? was marked as the answer
I recommend you get in touch with Squarespace Customer Care issues like this are specific to the site and will require access for troubleshooting. You can reach out to them here.
  20. paul2009's post in How to make CSS calc() function work on Custom CSS editor? was marked as the answer
@Jfer00 This is because the 'Custom CSS' panel is actually the 'Custom LESS' panel 😁.
Any math operations in brackets are calculated first (33-66=-33) and then the CSS parsed. You can avoid this by using escaping it like this:
      flex: 0 0 calc(~"33% - 66px");
  21. paul2009's post in Extending the time limit for digital downloads was marked as the answer
Although digital download links expire 24 hours after they are issued, if customers click their link after it has expired, Squarespace now automatically resend a new link.
  22. paul2009's post in HEADER ISSUE WHEN EDITING VIEWING MOBILE SITE (squarespace issue /* Hide prices on Squarespace Brine template - by Soundfocus Digita) was marked as the answer
It looks like someone has incorrectly added this code to your Code Injection area instead of the Custom CSS area. You can remove it by going to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection.
  23. paul2009's post in Logo url redirect not working was marked as the answer
Your snippet of code is using an old version of jQuery that has security vulnerabilities and will slow down your site. I recommend you replace this with some plain JavaScript, which will need to be added to the Code Injection Footer.
    As an example:
Remove the original code (above) if you have not already done so. Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection. Scroll down to the FOOTER injection box and then paste the following instead: <script>   document.querySelector('.logo-image a').setAttribute('href', '/creative');   document.querySelector('.mobile-logo-image a').setAttribute('href', '/creative'); </script> Let me know how you get on.
    1. This is for the York family of templates on Squarespace 7.0 only
    2. This will only work if the site title is an image. If the site title is text only, the selector will need to be amended.
    3. The example changes the site logo's link to "/creative" instead of the default home page.
    4. This solution does not require jQuery.
  24. paul2009's post in Limit customers to one discount was marked as the answer
Although there are some rules that prevent some discount types from being combined, the examples above cannot be prevented.
Squarespace’s advice is to only offer one or two promotions at a time to ensure that customers can't "stack" discounts on the same order. For more information on how discounts can and can’t be combined, see Managing Discounts.

There is nothing that the community can do to change this, and Squarespace do not respond to feature requests via this forum, so to make a feature request, contact Squarespace Customer Care.
  25. paul2009's post in Unable to add an additional G suite user via Squarespace was marked as the answer
