  1. @StudioScarpace If you're building pages with structured data like this (titles with descriptions that need to be aligned), it may be easier to do this with the older LayoutEngine editor (now known as the Classic editor) instead of Fluid Engine. You will have less overall control over the mobile layout, but because it will automatically stack the blocks for you, it may work better. See what you think for yourself. Here's your FE page when adjusted for different desktops/tablets/mobiles: temp-page-larwood-fe.mp4 And here's a similar section, built using the Classic Editor instead: temp-page-larwood-le.mp4
  2. Fluid Engine is designed to work this way. If you edit the content within a block, such as the text within a text block, this will affect desktop and mobile. Once you have the perfect desktop layout, you can adjust your mobile layout in the mobile view, but you should only move blocks (whole blocks, not content within blocks) and resize blocks. You shouldn't make any other changes within this view as they will affect desktop too. Does that help?
  3. This has been an issue for some time. See if my workaround from 2021 helps 🙂 Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  4. We'll need a link to the site if you'd like us to take a look 🙂
  5. There isn't an invoicing function in Squarespace yet, so you'll need to use a workaround if you want them to pay you via Squarespace Commerce. To so this, you'd need to create a hidden Store page and add a 'service' product to the page with the relevant description and cost for the client. You can repeat this process for each client. You can then share a link to the 'product' with your client to allow them to purchase the product and make a payment.
  6. Thanks for sharing your workaround for others. One thing to bear in mind is that your download link will remain live, so if someone shares the link online, anyone who clicks it will be able to download a copy of the asset (passwords can be shared in posts too). The good thing about digital download products on Squarespace is that a different download link is generated for each sale, and each link expires 24 hours after the purchase.
  7. As your post doesn't include the domain name, it is impossible for us to see what is happening. However, if you contact Squarespace Customer Care directly, they should be able to check it out.
  8. This issue is specific to this site and looks like a problem with custom code. That said, if you have removed all the custom code (including from individual pages) then it will be best to contact Squarespace Customer Care using a support ticket. They will be able to clear the site cache and see if this resolves the issue. Let us know how you get on 🙂 Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  9. You cannot do this for digital products because, as they are digital, it is assumed they are always available. As a workaround, you can manually add a Newsletter Block on a layout page to collect details of visitors who are interested. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  10. The image upload issue wasn't related to categories.

  12. Although there are some great classic template designs on version 7.0 of Squarespace, if you're building a new website in 2023 then I strongly recommend using one of the newer portfolio templates on version 7.1. Squarespace 7.0 has been a great platform for many years, but the templates were designed some time ago (Wexley is nearly 11 years old) and a lot has changed in web technology in that time. If you build your site on an older version 7.0 template it will still look beautiful but you won't have access to all the newer 7.1 features: Improved SEO Fluid Engine - the next generation website design tool. Better language support and integrated third party translation with Weglot. Colours and consistency are much easier to manage with Colour Themes and section backgrounds Many new design features (too many to mention!) including text highlights, animations, section dividers, background art, new cart icons and more. You can design more quickly by copying content with saved sections You can add video backgrounds hosted on Squarespace (no need for YouTube or Vimeo) If you plan to sell your work online, 7.1 also has: Store page support for up to 10,000 products (instead of 200 products on version 7.0) New Product Detail Page layouts Did this help? 13. This isn't something you can do on Squarespace. Squarespace is a serverless platform so you cannot configure it to receive HTTP requests. If you want to use a third party API like this, you'll need to use a different web platform. I appreciate this is not what you wanted to hear, but I hope this saves you lots of time looking for a solution that doesn't exist 🙂 Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  14. @Marcuspdx1161 This is because gift cards cannot be used to purchase subscription products.
  15. You forgot to include a working link to the site so that we can take a look.
  16. Are you on the Commerce Advanced plan? You can only apply the shipping zone to specific postal codes within a state or province on this plan.
  17. Yes, if that information is available in the page markup, although it’s probably easier to create a new but similarly styled element
  18. I have previously shared some CSS to change the mobile product category slider into a centered list of categories. If you only have a few, this may work: You could create the manual method that you described by adding a folder and placing some links (to each category) within the folder. It does work but users are unlikely to want to keep tapping the 'burger' menu to view different categories. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  19. The three websites you have mentioned are built on Squarespace version 7.0. Fluid Engine is only available on version 7.1. As there isn't a way to migrate from version 7.0 to 7.1 yet, you'd only be able to use Fluid Engine if you rebuild them on the newer version.
  20. I assume the difficulties are because of the complex compliance and tax requirements for selling wine directly to consumers? If that's the case, Squarespace doesn't have a built-in solution. Squarespace commerce has only been designed for online orders where payment is made online, so you'll only be able to manage orders on the platform if they were processed through the Squarespace checkout. If you process orders offline, by taking the customer's details online and then taking payment offline (either manually or using a third party solution) Squarespace won't be aware of the orders and you'll need a different method of managing them. I hope this helps, even if it isn't what you wanted to hear 🙂 Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  21. No, it is not possible to remove online payment methods from the Squarespace checkout. For a customer to complete checkout, they must use an online payment method through Stripe or PayPal. They cannot choose to 'pay by invoice' on Squarespace Commerce. There are workarounds using third party code but, if you use them, you will not be able to use the commerce features (like managing inventory or orders within the Squarespace UI). Let me know if you have any questions. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  22. The purpose of adding it after the main body of the page is to ensure it is loaded after the other page content. It should be fine to add the code just after it. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
