  1. as always tuanphan saving the day. that little plus sign hidden in the gallery "upload media" area is sneaky. i absolutely missed it & would only have found it from your loom video. huge thanks!
  2. If I understand this correctly, is the only way to get photos indexed by Google on Squarespace to use the "Add Block" > "Image"? My client has 15 galleries of 20 photos. I came to this forum looking for the best way to populate the site so that the images/titles/descriptions are searchable within the site (which is looking dismal so far) and now to learn they aren't even making it to Google = Ouch. Sounds like I need to completely reconfigure the site for both Google search and also searchable site-wide. Very open to suggestions if you have any! https://www.retrophotoarchive.com/
  3. bumping this one in case anyone has advice! thank you! having same issue as above member
  4. Bumping this thread, I am using a vimeo link for a background vid and the Squarespace support page implies playback speed is now adjustable for vimeo. But it's not adjusting for mine. Anyone in the know on how to get a vimeo video link as background to play at half speed? https://www.bajajamusicfest.com/ https://www.bajajamusicfest.com/plan-your-trip Thank you!
  5. wow okay amazing! so even if maindomain.com is totally built separately non-Squarespace, I could build a Squarespace store for a store.maindomain.com. That is epic. Thank you!!
  6. On this same topic (and I think your comment above answers this but would love confirmation,) @derricksrandomviews, is it possible to create a subdomain in a 3rd party DNS something like store.randomurl.com and then build a Squarespace store that would then point to the subdomain? Basically the main site randomurl.com would be totally built separately/non-Squarespace but the store.randomurl.com would be SS. Feels like based on your answer above this is a no-go but hoping I am wrong! 🤞 Thanks!
  7. This worked nicely for me. Would you also have code to make the transition smoother between hover/non-hover? Something more like how the hover acts in the nav bar with the main CTA on the right (still in progress but a good example of the hover behavior I am seeking if possible!) https://saffron-lychee-ydn6.squarespace.com/ron-rakow PW: retro It's not terrible as is but I'd love to refine it. It's the gallery under "EXPLORE MORE OF OUR ROSTER" Thank you!
  8. This scale for the newsletter form works great - i like the input field being no taller than the button: https://www.christycoleman.studio/ But the footer form in the site I am building now seems way too big but i'm using the same code as has been suggested here AND in the Christy Coleman site so i'm a little puzzled. The box around "Email Address" is bigger than the Sign Up button and I can't seem to reduce the size of it (which is my goal). https://saffron-lychee-ydn6.squarespace.com/
  9. Hi @tuanphan! I've used your CSS on other sites without an issue but for some reason, it's not working on this site: https://saffron-lychee-ydn6.squarespace.com/ PW: retro Would love any advice - thanks!
  10. Thank you @inside_the_square! Your CSS from 2020 worked great for me in 2022 : )
  11. Hello! Is there any chance you could take a look here and give me a nudge in the right direction? https://nealcasalmusicfoundation.org/podcast I'm on 7.1 and cannot figure out how to reduce the content width for the actual blog list itself. The blog detail pages are fine, but the list is waaay too wide (for desktop). Mobile is fine. Thank you!!
  12. Just echoing the frustration here. I do understand how complicated shipping configs can be to program but per product shipping configs seem like low-hanging fruit for Squarespace to invest in. I wish they would! I'm trying to solve for having two separate shipping locations: one in the US and one in the EU. It is a serious puzzle to try to figure out how to address this. I can't use flat rate and setup shipping zones because each product has vastly different weights, but I can't use weights because I don't want someone in Europe to pay for shipping FROM the US when we have a distro center in the EU. I do NOT want to move to Shopify for this. If anyone has any bright ideas that I am missing, please share! Thanks so much.
