  1. Hi everyone, I've logged your feedback for the appropriate team to review. While we can't guarantee any implementations, customer feedback is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input. For now, I am closing this post; for any future feedback/feature requests and as mentioned previously, contacting Customer Support would be the best approach as we don't usually track that here. Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone, Just wanted to add that Google's PageSpeed Insights tool examines a site's code to provide suggestions and best practices for speeding up a site. While the tool is useful when coding your own site, it can present misleading results for sites built on a CMS platform, like Squarespace. Check Squarespace's help article below for more specifics: Google's PageSpeed Insights errors
  3. Hi @mynameisbrand, This may be related to the title formats set for your site. Also, the Squarespace help article that I am linking below has great info and troubleshooting tips on what content displays on social media when you share links to your site: How content displays in social posts
  4. Hey @Johnjwood, You may want to consider creating a custom checkout form for that. Check this Squarespace help article for more specifics: Creating a custom checkout form
  5. Hi @Fiuni, You can transfer a trial between accounts by adding the person you want to transfer the trial to as a contributor to that trial. Make sure that you assign them Admin permissions, when inviting them as a contributor. Once the person has accepted the contributor invitation, you can then transfer ownership of the site to them. They can then remove your contributor profile from the site, if they would like to. Check these Squarespace help articles for further details: Inviting a contributor Changing site ownership
  6. Hi @lrcss and @dave154304, It’s important to note that banner images will always experience some cropping. This is the nature of how banners are designed and how they work with your site's built-in responsive design - the banner area will resize and crop differently depending on the size of the browser window viewing your site. That's why we usually recommend using abstract patterns and images without text or borders as banner images. While there isn't a way to completely prevent banner cropping, you can use focal points to center the banner on the most important part of the image. Check out this help article for more specifics: Using focal points to center images I am also including some other great guides on using banners images, which outline some good tips: Adding banner images - Image formatting tips Troubleshooting cropping issues
  7. Hi @teamsilverlake Thanks for the suggestion. Squarespace doesn't currently offer that feature, but I'd be happy to suggest it to our development team on your behalf. While we can't guarantee implementation of every suggestion, customer feedback is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input. For now, I am closing this post; for any future feature requests, contacting Customer Support would be the best approach as per section VI. of the forum guidelines we don't usually track feature requests here.
  8. Hi @Ella123456, The errors you're seeing in Google Search Console most likely are related with a difference between how Squarespace blocks internal and duplicate content and Google's preferences. We've got a guide that explains how and why Squarespace blocks such content here: Understanding Google SEO emails and console errors Usually you don't need to take any action and can disregard any of these types of errors from Google moving forward.

  12. Hey @shoggerj, You can achieve that by using a blank Layout Page and then use a Grid Gallery Block to display your images.
  13. Hi Nils, Squarespace has some great video design tips outlined in the help article below that you should make sure your video meets: Adding background videos - Design tips Bear in mind that video loading times will always depends on the internet connection. Also, as it is mentioned in the guide linked above, depending on the visitor's connection speed and browser version, background videos may not always display on mobile. Video embeds as opposed to direct video uploads, usually help sites to load faster, enable visitors to share your videos, and provide multiple options for video hosting. Finally, I'd like to point out that for any eventual issues you may experience with Squarespace's platform and/or to provide feedback about the product, contacting Squarespace Customer Support would be the best approach. As mentioned in the Forum Guidelines we don't track bug reports and feature requests in this forum.
