    studiolinear reacted to mattchait in Tax-Inclusive as a way to sidestep thousands of lines of code?
    So, I'm having a panic attack here based on what I just learned about Squarespace requiring you to find and then manually input every zip code in America and its relative tax %!!! That's insanity, and the time it would take me to do that would eat up my income from design jobs entirely.
    I'm wondering if option for the "Tax Inclusive" options means that thousands of lines of code are able to be skipped? According to SS help, "With tax-inclusive pricing, customers pay a product's listed price at checkout, instead of paying the listed price plus sales tax. The portion of the total that goes toward sales tax depends on the customer's location and is calculated at checkout."
    Am I reading that correctly? it looks like they're saying that Squarespace will determine the "portion of the total that goes towards sales tax" - AKA . . TAX? based on the customer's location --- not MINE. Which is how the regular taxation should work to begin with. This almost seems TOO easy? So much so that I wonder if it's just bad writing and misrepresenting the actual functionality. If SS can calculate tax based on CUSTOMER'S location and simply subtract that from the total ... why would I not opt for that over an insane amount of manual labor?
    Also, what happens when one zip code somewhere in the US changes their rates? I can't ask clients to keep track of the entirety of America's tax tables on a monthly basis for the rest of their lives once the website is handed off to them .. there has to be a better way.

    Hey everyone!
    We are looking to have a single product have the purchase option for either a one-time purchase and/or subscription right on the same product display as seen on these sites (which I think are all Shopify):

    https://highlinewellness.com/collections/all-cbd-products/products/cbd-night-gummies
    https://flovitamins.com/products/flo-gummy-vitamins?variant=31931893612647

    As I understand it, you either have a product that is a one-time purchase OR subscription and they have to be separate products? I am kind of at a loss as to why this can't be an option for one product, am I missing something? And if this is the case, is there a workaround or plugin?

    Thank you!

    This Squarespace Extension should do exactly what you need:

    In the Examples section, you’ll find other rental companies using it.

    Hey everyone!
    We are building a site in 7.1 and are not sure how to add anchor links like we are used to in 7.0, does anyone have a solution to this? We want to link a bit of text up at the top of our homepage to a section towards the bottom of our homepage.

    Thanks!

    Yes you can. But first you need to share url to check.

    studiolinear reacted to Jo_G in change font size in footer only
    Since the footer in Basil is divided into a few sections, you'll need to make sure you're targeting the one your text is in. For example, if you're updating normal text in the bottom footer, this CSS would make that change:
    #footerBlocksBottom p { font-size: 8px; }
    If you share the URL for your site, I can try to get you the exact CSS.

    studiolinear reacted to dxl in Please Help: How can I Remove the Underline Hyperlink on the Nueva Template?
    Nueva doesn't use the code for underline (text-decoration: underline), instead it uses the "border" function. By using the solution above you remove ALL borders for ALL hrefs ( a{}). You need to specify the items where you want to remove the borders. I wanted to remove body and heading "underlines" through out. I used this:
    /* Remove underline from links */ .sqs-block-html p a, .sqs-block-markdown p a, .sqs-block-image p a, .sqs-block-html blockquote a, .sqs-block-markdown blockquote a, .sqs-block-image blockquote a, .sqs-block-html ol a, .sqs-block-markdown ol a, .sqs-block-image ol a, .sqs-block-html ul a, .sqs-block-markdown ul a, .sqs-block-image ul a, h1 a, h2 a, h3 a { border: none !important; }
    You could be more careful and/or specific with what elements you choose to include. This option will keep the borders on your buttons intact while effectively removing the bottom borders from your links.
    Hope this helps.
    Good luck.

    If you want that, i guess you need to use JavaScript to insert new Image Navigation HTML 😅
    I will take a look tomorrow.

    As discussed in chat, you need to find an id somewhere on the page and create a link to it.
    The id=page-section* tags seem to be the best for jumping to a full section.

    So, for instance,  your link would point to #page-section-5db1525905df981438a2f2ed
