  1. Thanks, I tried this and I do see how it can work if I change all of the titles/descriptions to be the same for each photo, however it will not let me fade into the next slide or have an angled divider with the image being full bleed. It looks like I need to figure out a way for the background image to fade between several images instead of one static image. It only give you the option between one image and a video. If there is not a way to custom code it to pull and fade between multiple images do you have a recommendation for me to create a simple video slideshow? I have the full adobe creative suite, or is there a simple online video slideshow creator anyone can recommend? I'm assuming if it is coded to just fade between photos it will load a lot quicker.

Here is a link to show using your technique below the header I'm trying to replicate. https://panda-sparrow-9c8w.squarespace.com/config/ , even if I just go with it sliding instead of fading, how do I make the image bleed to the divider diagonal and make it so the navigation/site logo will be ontop of the slideshow?

    Thanks,

    Liz

  2. I'm using panda sparrow template and love the full background header image that I can place text on top of. I'm trying to make it a simple slideshow of 5 or so projects. Is there an easy way to do this? In this template it's not a gallery section and if I change it to one I can no longer put text over the image like I want. It does have the option to use a video background, but its such a simple slideshow it seems silly and for mobile view it would be a static image. If this is the best way to do it I will, does anyone have an easy video slideshow creator for me to use to upload in the video section (not even sure what format has to be used).

Can anyone look at this homepage that was started from an older template before squarespace changed from that format. I like the background change when you hover over the text, but I don't think many people will realize it will change when you do so I'd like to underline each word: Traditional, Transitional & Modern so people realize they link to that style portfolio. Anyone have any ideas of how to do that? I asked chat and they said it has to be done in custom code because they are project pages.

    Thanks,
