About Me

I am a whole food plant-based personal trainer, author of the book Redefine Yourself, researcher, motivational speaker, and a lifelong student of the mind and body. My fitness and life-structure programs have helped my clients lose more than 3,000 pounds and transform their lives since 2005. With over 18,000 hours of one-on-one personal training sessions, I hope have refined the approach to fitness! I also host and produce the podcast, "The Elements of Being," in Chicago.

Having researched emotion and coping behaviors in university-level studies, I have presented various fitness, motivation, body image, and stress-management programs at Illinois State University, DePaul University, corporations, high schools, and workshops while also serving as the former fitness expert on NBC's The Biggest Loser/MSN Chicago tour.
