A domain was migrated from Google Domains automatically. Everything seems to work. But I need to urgently edit email aliases. As far as I understand, that can't be done anymore on Google side. So I tried on SquareSpace. But a message tells that I can't do that unless I delete Google Workspace subscription for that domain, or I remove MX records aliases created with Google. The first option is not an option, I'm not entirely sure why they even suggest it. The second option looks obscure to me. If I do that, I don't expect GMail to work. Will I be able to reinsert the same records immediately? And if I do, will I be unable again to edit email forwards? This is frustrating, because it feels like SquareSpace has no idea what the real problems of a company are. Can anyone provide a solution other than switching to another provider (which might be desirable in the long term, but I don't want to do that in hurry)?
