I transferred my domain to Squarespace in August and published my site a few days ago. Should I do a 301 redirect? My new Squarespace site does rank higher in a Google search, but the old site also shows up below it. I am unsure how to proceed since the domain is identical. When will tablet view be enabled (again)? Was it removed to force an upgrade to enable a plug-in like the Chrome extension? I am new to Squarespace. I just published my site after six weeks of working to get it looking good in desktop and mobile, only to be disappointed that it looks like a train wreck on my iPad. I do not understand why tablet view is not included, especially when it was in the past according to everyone else upset about this missing component.

Since most people view in dark mode now (I use the Dark Reader extension in Safari), I am designing with that in mind. Is this the right approach? I am happy with the appearance in dark mode, but not when I toggle it off (in Safari).
