    As you explained, this is a Squarespace 7.1 website so Fluid Engine is already built-in.

    When you add a new Page Section you should be choose between Classic and Fluid Engine sections. If you want to use Fluid Engine on an existing page section, you should be able to click the UPGRADE button to upgrade that section from Classic to Fluid Engine.

    Please note that it isn't possible to convert a Page Section back to Classic after upgrading it and saving the page. If you're not sure you want to use Fluid Engine with a section, it's better to duplicate the section before upgrading - just in case!

    Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below  ⬇️

    Thank you for your response! I have experience with 7.1 Fluid engine and I don't see the upgrade section anywhere on the page. I would be happy to include you as a contributor on the site so you can see exactly the issues I'm facing.

    Hello Riley,

    It looks like you're on Squarespace 7.1, which should support the fluid editor. Try checking the Design > Site Styles for any toggle options related to layout adjustments. If you need assistance with the upgrade or other issues, then text me up!

    Sent you a message.

  3. Hi all,

    I am working on a website for my boss as a side project, he wants to create a site for his marine services company. I duplicated our old site for our main company and have begun making changes but unfortunately, I don't see any prompt to upgrade the website to fluid editor. Upon checking in the dashboard, it says its built on 7.1 so this should be an option, but I have had no success in making this shift.

    This extra site is paid until May 2025 so I would prefer to keep it operational if possible.

    URL: https://egm-test-site.squarespace.com/
    Pass: egm12345

    Thank you!
    Riley

  4. Hi all! We have a phone number link & icon on our header that I would like to move above our "Request a Service" box, yet this is only possible with CSS / code injection and I'm struggling to find results.

    The original site (https://www.4mek.com) is currently still live, just doesn't have the phone number as of yet. Attached is an image of what it currently looks like and what my goal is. Every time I've managed to come up with some code that shifts things around it moves the social links instead of the phone number.

    This is the URL of the duplicated site that we have been changing but I'm fairly certain it's not accessible: https://burgundy-pike-scw4.squarespace.com/config/

    Here's some code... adjust the margin-top number to whatever you need.

    It will also help to resize the images so that they're all the same height. If you don't have them, you can download them from your current site, resize, then reupload onto your site.

    //push top image down on home page//
    @media only screen and (min-width:767px) {
    body.homepage #page section:first-child {
        margin-top: 90px;
    }
    }

    Unfortunately, after resizing all the images and inputting this code I'm still running into issues in terms of non-uniform sizing.

    With the image for reference below, I can see that there are issues with the first image box.

  7. Thanks! @JessicaM  Yet to change the size of the images but will do that shortly to see if I can get everything uniform. Instead of making an entirely new post, I was curious if you would be able to help with these changes.

  8. Hi all. I was recently hired on as a marketing and biz dev specialist for my company and I'm tasked with improving the website. We paid for a website building service through Squarespace and it has significant amounts of CSS and HTML code which I believe is causing some issues, but its outside of my realm of expertise.

    Main things I would like assistance with is this custom-built carousel/ image slideshow. For some reason the images are always different sizes regardless of the section height or content alignment which looks poor when the image switches. Also, the arrows are too high up on the image and I would prefer for them to be centered in the middle. We currently have a duplicated website on a light color scheme and these issues have been compounded and actually appear worse, but we are on a free trial for that domain so I cannot share a link.
