  1. password: popcorn hi there! i've attatched images to show why this is an issue for me. until this weekend i'd been doing my website on a 14" laptop so had no idea of this issue, cut to this weekend and i'm on a 27" imac and hit full screen for a moment and discover this issue! on my website I wanted my navigation to be below the header without the background of my header, I couldn't find anything on how to do that so I drew a white bar at the bottom of my header image so it blended in with the white of the background to give the illusion its seperate. can I: a) change how the image is zoomed in on when widened or stop the image from being resized at all after a certain width? or b) make the navigation bar its own section below my header
  2. @tuanphan hi!! I added all the code provided in this thread and it worked!! but only for the first two images, I think the reason for this might be that have all my images in one section rather than space it all out into multiple sections. is there a way to make it work for all images without me having to do everything over again but seperate things into different sections? https://semicircle-onion-22zh.squarespace.com/ password: popcorn
  3. @creedon hi! thanks for linking, I had a bash at this the other day after finding it on another thread and it broke the hover affect (made it go black) and then my 10 year old laptop started glitching (she's on her last legs and i've been praying she at least makes it til my portfolio websites done lol) - I think the button layer just meant there was too many layers or something and it made the page too hard to load for my laptop - not entirely sure. but sadly not the solution for me
  4. hi there @tuanphan https://semicircle-onion-22zh.squarespace.com password: popcorn I have my homepage which im using as portfolio, I've linked all my images to their relevant link, and so far with the first top image have applied css from inside the square tutorial to make the image fade and text appear, but as previous people have had issue with -you have to add your link to the text and then only the text will have the link rather than the whole box and also it adds underscore to the text. could you help me please so that the whole text box is a clickable link and also so that doing this doesn't give the text an underline 🙂
  5. hi!! just incase anyone else comes across this, I found this tutorial which does exactly what I was looking for. The title didn't make it sound like the image would go slightly faded/transparent but it does and its incredibly simple to implement!
  6. I hadn't yet but I have now! the only image I haven't linked yet is the little comic strip at the bottom as i'll link that to my substack but still sorting the substack out!
  7. @tuanphan hi, thanks! https://semicircle-onion-22zh.squarespace.com/config/ password: ducksquack
  8. hi there! Basically on my home page only, I'd like my images to be clickable links. So people know this, i'd like to add a hover effect that makes the images go a bit transparent and makes text appear 🙂 (also I've seen people share their website with a password but mine is private so if anyone could direct me on how to share in this way so you can help better that would be great!)
