    I haven't done this but could you use Eventbrite's recurring feature and embed it into the website?

    SOOOOO Frustrating not to be able to put the repeating weekly schedule on the calendar without duplicating EACH item and then editing it for the next week.  Come on folks.

    Site URL: http://www.blackhartstp.com
    I maintain our bar's calendar for shows and events and there are several features that are absolutely maddening. Many of our events are weekly, but in order to put each individual event up you must: duplicate the event, delete (copy) which has been added to the title, and then at times you have go in and manually adjust the individual event webpage because it just keeps adding digits to the html every time you duplicate.
    All of this means that it takes probably an hour or two each month rather than just setting the calendar for the year in one sitting.

    Thanks to @tuanphan Here's the solution:
    div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1682349085452_51082 {
        background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.55);
        padding: 10px;
    }
    P.S. I had the wrong #block ID.

    Assuming you are talking about the desktop header, you should be able to remove the white background by adding the following to Design > Custom CSS:
    .Header--bottom { background-color: transparent; }

    Just chiming in with more dissatisfaction at this (lack of) feature.  This is such a waste of time - like tell me your devs don't value this feature without telling me they don't value this feature.
    I literally WASTED HOURS trying to teach my last client who is basically incapable of understanding the back end of Squarespace how to add her repeating events that occur 5 times a week, every week, for the year. I sold her on Squarespace and she LOVES the calendar. Now I am basically her VA...doing it for her. FML
    It's also not enough that Squarespace says "we don't monitor these forums" and washes their hands of it. Like put someone onto these forums guys and solve these issues that loyal users and builders are experiencing without tasking them to do your job for you. We are all here trying to figure it out, and you want to make us do more work to provide a case for customer service in order to tell you about your poorly designed feature? That's a no from me dawg.

    One year later...nothing has changed. My client, the admin for a church website, has many recurring events weekly and monthly and is manually duplicating each one. She is beyond frustrated and today sent me links for solutions. Like incorporating google calendar. First time I've encountered this problem. It's one thing to update an annual event but duplicating 20 to 30 events each month one-at-a time clearly does not work.

    I may as well go ahead and pile on. It is nuts that we can't create recurring calendar events and have everything about each event repeat except for the date and URL. I do hundreds of events each year. Really don't want to manually enter them all... Even the duplicate event option is cumbersome. It's hard to imagine that the techies at Squarespace can't figure this out.

    There has been plenty of UX research and they found that they never really worked well.
    Most people never saw the second slide so if it was important content it may get missed. Still depending on the circumstances they can work well. They do slow down the page load though.

    have removed all css and individually reloaded - it was once fine then just bam - started to jitter.

    it’s on all images throughout the site for me - I’m on an iPhone 11 Pro.

    sjet reacted to paul2009 in Brine 7.0 How do I increase the logo size on the mobile display?
    You don't need code. Your Brine-family template has a separate setting in Site Styles for the mobile version of the logo.
    Whilst viewing a mobile preview of your site, open Site Styles.
    Look for the section called MOBILE: BRANDING. There's a setting called Logo Width.

    I have the same issue unresolved ... this should be an easy thing to do!  I do not want to have to use ISSUU just to allow a web visitor to view and print a PDF file ... that is riduculous ... and it's something that squarespace USED to allow ... I had many of these in prior squarespace sites ... please advise!

    No, we have not solved the issue yet.  We think the image needs to be resized, but aren't sure why that's the case. Thanks.
