  1. It turns out, they don't let you change it back! And they refer you to a "specialist". This is insane and needs to be changed asap.
  2. This is so ridiculous it is almost making me want to leave Squarespace. I knew I wasn't quite ready to set up payments but wanted to have a quick look at what would be required to set up them up. I had no idea that as soon as I clicked an entity type, I would be forever stuck with that type short of DAYS of emailing back and forth with customer service only to now have to ESCALATE the case JUST TO CHANGE THE ENTITY TYPE BACK TO LLC. I also had to put up with the customer service guy advising on how I should just get started with my individual info and "later on" change to my LLC info. NOT ASKING FOR BUSINESS ADVICE FROM A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP! JUST MAKE THE CHANGE! You can't change it yourself. Once you get onto the "individual" business page, you can't go back to change it to company. At first I thought it was a glitch bc it is stupid and simple but NOPE, they have it set up this way! Now I am WAITING to have a "specialist" contact me!? I'm considering leaving Squarespace over this. Absolutely unacceptable.
  3. Customer support told me that I needed to have either Squarespace payments or Paypal connected in order to do a test transaction. Since I am glitched out on adding either at the moment, I have not yet been able to test again. Hopefully others are having a smooth time with this!
  4. In preparing for setting up Squarespace payments, I started clicking through and chose 'individual' as I assumed I could go back and start again. I wanted to check out what info was needed before proceeding. Unfortunately, it's now STUCK on that, I am unable to go back so I can select COMPANY and add my LLC info for payments. There is a box that says need to start over? reset here..................but that is not working. I have logged in and out, refreshed page, done all the usual tricks and it's still stuck here. Attached is the second page, after I clicked individual, where I am stuck. I do not intend to provide my personal info when this is a business, with an EIN, etc. Very frustrating, hopefully a glitch and not some strange process. Any insights into solutions?

  7. That's interesting. For me, it goes under my unlinked pages and doesn't show up on the menu or anywhere else. So I'm unclear on how to structure this. Are we supposed to build a landing page and then somehow link to the course product?
  8. I'm new to Squarespace and so far it has been an amazing upgrade from Wordpress, etc. However, I am a little concerned that their customer service seems non-existent. I sent a request a week ago, no response. And now under this very important topic, also no response! Has anyone found a solution to this very strange issue? Why would courses not fall under the Shop links? How do we link to the course at all so that people will be able to buy it? Very confusing that it hasn't been addressed.
