  1. The problem remains unresolved. We’ve decided to bite the bullet and move our domains to another registrar. We have over 100 domains, all of which were migrated to Squarespace. I’m unclear on the purpose of Squarespace acquiring Google Domains, but it certainly doesn’t seem to be a positive one. I was shocked to learn that so many others are experiencing the same issue. It also seems that Squarespace is ignoring this problem. The only response I receive from support is, “We are working on it.” This issue has persisted for over a month. As a domain registrar, ensuring domain functionality is a critical responsibility, and you’re failing at it. We can no longer manage the hassle of creating a new domain every time a Kubernetes service is launched. We need wildcard support, period.
  2. I have been experiencing this issue for months, and due to our critical infrastructure, we cannot switch domain registrars quickly. I have had my domains registered with Google for years and never encountered any problems. However, after the acquisition of Google Domains by Squarespace, all domains were transferred to Squarespace. Since then, we have been unable to create any wildcards. This is not just a missing feature; it is critical because it prevents us from deploying our QA environments. I have contacted support multiple times, but the only response I receive is, “Our engineers are working on it.” As one of the largest domain registrars, I expect Squarespace to handle such issues promptly and professionally. This situation is highly frustrating and unprofessional.
