Thanks, I understand that in theory. But they are not acting independently. The summary block for News changes dimensions when I change the dimensions of the Blog post thumbnails. It is very frustrating!

I would like to have 2:3 Vertical dimension thumbnails for my Blog posts and have 1:1 square thumbnails for my News posts. Unfortunately, every time I change the thumbnail dimensions for the blog posts, it also changes the thumbnail dimensions for my News posts (and vice versa). Why is this happening? Is it possible to change the thumbnail dimensions independently from each other?
