2 columns on mobile view not working!! SOS please help!

Hi there, I am using the Wells template and am having the same issue. I would like to have 2 column masonry view for mobile. When I use the suggested code, it does work, however it displays a large gap between the landscape images, rather than having a thin, equal gap, as is the case with desktop view. See screenshot below. Can anyone advise on this please?

Hello, Hoping someone in the community has a solution / can help! I am using the Well's template. I removed all the sample images on the provided collection page and inputted my own. I now need to create an identical page layout for another category on my site, however there is no option to do this. Anyone encountered this issue who can help please?
