  1. If your goal is to use the domain with a site made using the Squarespace website creator I'd recommend just registering the domain through Squarespace directly and then connecting it to your website 🙂
  2. Site looks really good! nice call to action on the homepage banner directs users where they need to go to the courses page, overall design and flow of the site is really good and easy to navigate for users. I'd agree with the guy above me to maybe make the navigation not quite as tall but that's just a minor thing. - I previewed your site on mobile and noticed that while the site looks fantastic on desktop, there may be some optimizations you could do to make it look better when viewed on a smartphone. In the screenshot below for example I would switch to mobile site editor, and add some spacing between the button and the banner text - and then just go through the whole site in the mobile editor making tiny changes you think may improve that smartphone viewing experience. Again just want to stress your site is fantastic, these are tiny optimizations that could help but even with the site as-is you've done a great job here 🙂
  3. I would ask Squarespace support what their nameservers are for your website and then change the nameservers on the registrar side of things, this would 'connect' the domain to the local DNS used by Squarespace, otherwise I'd perhaps reach out to their official web chat for support asking what changes need to be made to make sure it's correctly pointing to the web hosting provided by Squarespace's website creator. I have a small store on Squarespace and I found the DNS changes I had to make by going to the website creator side of things account dashboard > website > settings > domain & email > domains > use a domain I own enter your domain that you wish to use with that website and follow the prompts, it should tell you then what settings need to be applied on the domain side of things
  4. I would take a look at this official help guide from Squarespace about connecting a 3rd party domain: Connecting a third-party domain to your Squarespace Site – Squarespace Help Center This is done by making the DNS changes over at the registrar where your domain is registered. If it's been connected correctly, the SSL should install automatically on Squarespace's end with little to no input needed from you as they handle it. Also note that it sometimes just takes time for the SSL to install (it took a few hours for me and then it automatically completed without me having to do anything). Its possible that by the time you're reading this it's already finished and works by now.
  5. Just started a brand new website with Squarespace, looking to launch soon. Looking for feedback on the design of my site www.beanie.org Thanks for taking a look ^.^
  6. If the main goal of the website is to hire you to write a custom song for them, I'd much rather see Graham in the main banner that you first see at the very top of the website instead of the big blue banner background. I would have the text "Celebration Songs for You" overlaid on top of the photo of Graham which already has a nice large black space where text could be placed, and then a big call-to-action button "Get a Custom Song" that links users to your 'services' page. The text in the button can be anything you prefer but should tell the user 'this is where I go if I'm interested in proceeding with this'. You have to think "what is my goal for the end user to accomplish on my site?" and then make it as easy as possible for them to learn who you are, what you're offering, and how to proceed if they're interested. That large banner space at the top is going to be your first impression and introduction when a new user visits the site, so make it count 🙂
  7. ignitecreative.co - my only critique would be that the white text against a lime green color may be a bit difficult to read on that homepage banner near the word 'small'. other than that looks great! exofusiondesigns.com - fantastic, would maybe pick a different color for the grey 'sign up' button on the footer for email sign up such as black bethesdanaturalhealth.com - would maybe add a small icon or image above each of the 3 text groups under "journey towards healing" to spice it up a bit give people images to break up a mostly all text homepage - overall fantastic job, looks really good and professional across all 3!
  8. I'm having the same issue on my Squarespace store. Set it up to use TaxJar and it's not working. Connected my accounts and everything. 😪
