Please help. I created my first page ever, and first page on Squarespace. Google Console says my home page has an Alternate page with proper canonical tag. In the help of Square space it has the statement below. I need help with the last sentence, "we ask Google to only index the first URL." Who is we? Squarespace has not done it because I get the error in the Search Console. What do I do?

Google may display this error for your homepage URL, but you don't need to make any changes on your site. This error displays because your site's homepage has two URLs (example.com and example.com/home). To avoid duplication, we ask Google to only index the first URL (example.com).
