Hey Guys, 

So I want to bulk upload a new feature image for about 2000 products. I originally uploaded a hosted img url for all of these products when I first started the website. I would think I could export, then re-import with the new image url instead of the old one but it doesnt work.

how can I accomplish this

Welll dang nabbit.  What do I do @paul2009??? Client needs people to be able to search and filter….

@paul2009The reason is becuase the alt text must also contain the search term in order for the image to come up.so I just got another program to try to bulk rename alt text to the product title but havent had luck just yet.

Yes I had these all saved to my dropbox when i initially loaded them in. So should i make all of the changes on the hosted images on the dropbox then reimport the products?

also, @paul2009I bought your wishlist plugin. Its awesome. 
 

the other thing im having a tough time with is the search functionality not bringIng up alot of our pics.  Ive read that alt text is how  I can fix this. I ourchased a sofrware called tinyimg but its only letting me change one at a time

Hey guys... So I need to batch edit a ton of pictures on the site.... errr.... very picture on the site. I know the edits I want to do for the products. My issue is how the heck do I upload these new pics in bulk? I cant possible manually add one new picture per product. I have over 1300 products.

Thanks @paul2009. I appreciate it. A few days ago there was a backlog notice on the SF site but I see its gone now. Even still, Id like to find a solution I can custom code in. I don't have the budget for this right now unfortunately .

Yes I am aware of this sf.digital but even if I were to pay they are currently backlogged. My thought was "If they figured it out why cant I?"

Hey everyone, 

I have searched far and wide. Dare I bring up the concept of a wishlist!

I have a prop rental site where I want to have customers add products to a list and Ideally have that list submitted via a form instead of the cart checkout page. (or have the checkout button itself redirect to a popup contact page.) I understand that this is a security issue and the checkout page specifically cannot be altered. 

That being the case, I have to disable the cart, no problem. Easy Peasy.

My problem, however, is creating a wishlist. I would this this can be done with code injection somehow. Add a button to the product page template that adds that product to a list on another page maybe? Why is this so hard?

I am aware there are services out there I can buy to implement this but I really dont have the extra cash, nor time to do that. BUT IF THEY CAN DO IT I CAN DO IT TOO.

So.... please help!🤪

I dont know if this is stupid but I did ask chatgpt what to do and it gave me the following instructions (see attached).. It does make sense but this isnt working. Thoughts?
