  3. Site URL: https://www.martinroper.co.uk Hi everybody, is it possible to have different text in the footer of each page. Guessing it may be possible with some CSS. Thanks
  4. Site URL: https://www.2checkingout.com Hi is it possible to have text scrolling through a text block? Planning on using Brine template. I know I can get the text to bounce, fade in etc. But what I would like to do is have text scrolling across the full width of a site. Thanks in advance

Thanks, no CSS needed I take it

  6. Thanks Michael, I had taken a look at Geo Redirect but was put off by the pricing for a very small business. But something that I would revisit if the business grew.
  7. Can we have the expert's opinion on Squarespace not being SEO friendly and finally put this issue to bed?
  8. What is the number one thing that all squarespace site creators should do regarding SEO? Understand that there will be multiple actions to get better rankings, but if you had to name just one, what would it be? Thanks
  9. Site URL: https://www.martinroper.co.uk Hi and hope everybody is safe and well. Looking for some feedback on the what tools people use for checking site speeds and other seo checks? Are there any that standout from the crowd. I'm aware of the paid tools such as Moz & SemRush... Thanks
  10. Hi therealtallboy, there is some code you can drop into pages that you don't want to be crawled. Not sure if this only works for search engines or all testing sites. I'm sure there is a circle member or two that can offer some help.
  11. Thanks for the reply Tuanphan, the site is https://www.mickeysphotography.uk/faqs/wedding-photographer/oxfordshire
  12. Thanks Lingwisyer, It's just the main pricing that is a concern, Any travels costs will be per booking basis. The pricing would be independent and reviewed every month to take into account exchange rates etc.
  13. Site URL: https://www.martinroper.co.uk Hi everybody, is there a way to have different pages load based on where the person viewing a site is based? For example, my client is based in the UK, but also sells his photography services overseas. I would like to have a different pricing page show up for somebody in Spain (for example) that has euro based pricing rather than UK Pounds. Same with the USA, Australia etc. Not looking to change the language of a page (my client only speaks english 😉) just pricing. Thanks
  14. Site URL: https://www.mickeysphotography.uk Hi, noticing an issue that I'm not sure lies with Squarespace or Moz. Moz reports is picking up blog posts with tags as individual pages and giving me an error report of duplicated content. As an example the page has a URL of https://www.mickeysphotography.uk/blog/wedding-photographer which Moz is seeing, but then it's also seeing https://www.mickeysphotography.uk/blog/wedding-photographer/tag/Bride and https://www.mickeysphotography.uk/blog/wedding-photographer/tag/celebration Is there something I should be doing with the site to hide these tags from being picked up by Moz? Apologies if this is an issue at the Moz end, which I will pick up with them.
  15. Site URL: https://www.martinroper.co.uk Hi everybody, how do I stop H1's hyphenating on a mobile phone. When I choose mobile device on the site builder, everything looks fine. Checking on an iPhone 7 Plus and the H1's on the home page hyphenate. Doh
  16. Try using Mailchimp (free account), when somebody subscribes they will be automatically added to your mailing list and you can give them a thanks for doing email with a link to download the instruction manual. We do this for our travel site and offer a free eBook to anybody signing up. We actually have it set up so that a new subscriber gets three emails with pointing to various blog posts etc. The timing of each email can be set up with Mailchimp.
  17. Hi fellow spacers, keen to get some feedback on my first site design. www.mickeysphotography.uk All feedback both positive and negative would be most welcome. Thanks
