libby got a reaction from mathewl in How do I link a folder title within the navigation to a page?
I am using the Five template and have set up a folder style navigation. Is it possible to get the top level navigation (the folder) to go to the first sub-page when clicked?
Currently there is no way to get it to go anywhere. In Squarespace 5 you could set a page to be the default page of the folder when the folder was clicked. When you rollover the folder it behaves like a link so from a usability stand point it should link to something.
If I can’t get it to link, can I remove the “looks like a link” behaviors (e.g. rollover color change, mouse pointer change) just on the folders?
I am also having trouble with the drop-downs disappearing when I rollover them to click. This is another reason I want to be able to click the folders – when I am testing I can’t get to my subfolders!

Hello, I am using the Supply template and would like to make a horizontal version of our logo display when the site goes to mobile sizing. Currently the logo disappears and disply the site title. Here is our sites temp page:

    Any ideas?

I’ve successful built a site that I’m really pleased with in Squarespace. All good, and am about to pull the trigger on a subscription.
However, I’m very concerned that there appears to be no way of backing up the site, and information on backups seems to be really sketchy.
I’d really appreciate some info here, grateful for any pointers.
    Thanks

Can each Block in the layout engine have its own background colour?
This would be a big way to customize the look of the templates.
This has been discussed various times on here but I don’t think I’ve seen a definitive simple answer – in particular there’s been a lot of discussion across various threads that block IDs YUI seem to change so targeting a block ID with color doesn’t seem to work permanently.
Colored blocks are pretty standard now on major websites as a way of structuring different types of content. See the examples below:
