This is a recurring issue that will force me to transfer all my domains at some point.

It is an authentication issue at the moment, I'm getting a non-authorized return from the request to add. I've logged out and in, used incognito, cleared cookies, and the issue persists.

Why am I unauthorized to add an A record with @ host?

This issue genuinely renders squarespace useless to me. I can't even use the domains that I have purchased.

This was a cookie issue. I just had to clear my squarespace cookies.

I have Google Workspace/mail records, an AWS host record, and several firebase records.

The firebase records didn't authenticate properly, and now I can't delete or edit them.

I had to delete Squarespace defaults before, for Google Workspace, but now the default box is present, and empty, and can't be deleted. I suspect this has something to do with my current inability to edit or delete other records.
