  1. I did as you instructed (remove any code from the page header code injection and instead paste your new code into the website tools/Custom CSS, but it seems the content text is still inserted before each blog post, rather than only before the most recent post, or at the top of the blog page. If you scroll down on this page you can see that it's still at the top of each blog post https://wilsontannersmith.com/hcs-iii Sorry for the delay following up on this! Thanks so much for your help.
  2. If I'm not mistaken, the template I'm using does not allow me to insert any other blocks on the blog page -- it's only populated by the body of the blog itself, the "Insert Point" doesn't appear anywhere in edit mode on that page, but does on others. I believe the CSS method would be the only way to make it work, but so far we haven't been able to find the right code string to put one header at the top of the blog. Thanks for trying to help all the same. Cheers, Wilson
  3. I'm sorry, I followed these instructions but it still seems to insert that text before each blog post, not just once at the top of the page. It's not the end of the world if that's how it has to be, but if there's a way to just get the text to display once at the top of the page that'd be great. Thanks so much for your help!
  4. Yeah, I actually don't know how/why that changed! But unfortunately now it's present before every blog post, not just the first landing page -- is there a way to only get one as a page header, but not on each post? Thanks for all your help!
  5. Hello, Sorry no it didn't - that code snippet I tried only placed it "within" the blog post's body itself, not as a header for the entire blog like the screenshot you shared.
  6. Yes, that screenshot location is correct - the idea is that the header text would be independent of the blog posts. Previously I was using a template which allowed this, but it seems the template I'm currently using does not.
  7. Thanks for the reply! I'm looking for a header that would sit above any most recent blog post, such that it would serve as a header to the entire blog, rather than sit under the title of a given post as "Misc. Videos" is . Sorry if that was unclear! Is there a different CSS code I could use for that? Thank you!
  8. Hello - I wanted to follow up on this original request. I'm in a similar position as the original poster, but am looking for something that works directly on the blog page as an introduction to the blog, rather than a separate summary page. The idea would be to have a small paragraph above the most recent blog post. I've found some other threads sharing CSS solutions, but none seem to quite align with what I'm looking for. I'm on 7.0, Om template in the Montauk family. Here's a link to the blog itself: https://wilsontannersmith.com/hcs-iii This intro paragraph would sit just before the main blog body, so above the "Misc. Videos" title there, but below all the site navigation. (of course the blog area itself would move down a little to accommodate the extra text). Thanks!
