How to add code for 3rd party widget to store page
dave_down_under replied to dave_down_under's topic in Site Design & Styles
OK, I have that running now with the scr pointing to url for the widget. The 2 issues are the button being in the footer is off the bottom of page, can it be moved to say below image on the product page? The other issue is it loads with a blank wall and user selects and places artwork, maybe I selected the wrong widget? I just want them to be able to pen the room and see the artwork from the product they are viewing on the wall. Should I instead is the virtual 3D widget? -

How to stop store page opening in new web tab
dave_down_under posted a topic in Site Design & Styles
Hi, All of my pages open in the same tab in browser when I navigate to them except the store product pages. Is there a way to ensure the product page opens in the same tab already open for the site? -
Hi, I have a ArtPacer subscription and can create 3D room views for my photos. The site provides code for these "Widgets" to link to them from web site. Does anyone know how I can add the codes to each of the products in my store? Basically I want a button below the image on the product page "View in room" that then runs the widget code to take them to the vitual room.

I have allocated a separate image to each variant. The problem is that at store page, I see all the variants below the main image. I only want to see one image at a time, selected by user clicking items in the pull down menu. So, in summary, user selects an image they want to purchase and the store page for that product opens. I want them to see the main image only when the store opens, then they select the type of frame (say white, black, timer, canvas. print only) and when they select one of these options from the frame type pull down menu, the main image on the page changes to the image I have set for that variant.

Hello, I am wanting to know how I can have the variant image replace the main product image on the checkout page. At the moment, the variants all show on the same page below the main image. I want to have it work such that if a user selects say Timber Frame option from the pul down, then the jpg image I have for print in timber frame will replace main image shown, if they then select say natural timber then that image gets replaced by the jpg with image shown in natural frame. I suspect this might need code that detects change in selection and sets main image based on the selection? I am not sure how to do this. Also, s it possible to default quantity to "1" and not show quantity box at checkout ? The image below is what I currently have. The variant images show at bottom left below the main image, I need the appropriate image to replace that top left image dependant on what FRAME they selsct. Thanks

Hi, I am trying to create a photographic web site for displaying and taking orders for framed images. Though I can get pages published ok and managed to get a store item tested with Paypal etc, I am having trouble with the elements I should use and getting confused whether to use Store, image blocks or projects. What I want to have is a main "Gallery" page with an image and caption representing each category (Like Seascapes, Waterfalls, Country Living etc). Then when any of the category images is clicked, a page opens with all the images and captions in that category (say all seascape images). Then if they click on a particular image I want it to open the product page where they select options and can add to cart to purchase. Not sure if I should have a "store" page or not. Or would I be better to have say a store page of products for each category. I'm a bit confused about the best method to use. Thanks

Hi, I am using the latest Squarespace version. Current trying to create a store with products and I am finding the images are being cropped, I am wanting to show the entire image with virtual frame I created but the top and bottom of image are cropped so I do not get the whole frame. I have attached copy of the original and what I see once uploaded to the "product" image for the store.

Hi, I just started with Squarespace a couple of weeks ago. It was very easy to get a simple template online but I am wondering if there is a course or tutorial that would help me understand how to set up the following. Photography web site. User click "Gallery" to see available categories of images Then they click a gallery and a list of images appear within that gallety (like seascapes) When they click image the full image is displayed with an option to make selection of frame type and size and add to cart Finally, what I need to do to set up the commerce side at accept a payment. Thanks
