For those still following, I rebuilt the entire home page in another blank page and somehow that resolved the issue. I rebuilt all components and did not use any saved sections. I reviewed and cleaned up the custom CSS for this specific page too. Somehow that fixed my issue.
My guess is that it was faulty custom CSS targeting. Still need to clean up the whole thing but for those having the same issue in the future, I'd watch out for that!
