Is it possible to use iCloud+’s Custom Email Domain in conjunction with a SS domain? I’ve seen a few posts where folks have tried it and run into problems—but none have had any follow up posts with potential solutions/suggestions. That scares me because it leads me to believe it’s not possible…
This is my case: I have a domain registered by SS but currently managed by Google. On top of my annual domain registration fee, I have a subscription to Google Workspace. BUT I only use my domain for my personalized email, and don’t have a website. I also have a subscription to iCloud+.
Where I’d like to end up is having my domain hosted via some registrar, not having to pay for a workspace subscription or admin service I don’t use, and use iCloud+ for my email. Can I do that with SS?
Any help and/or advice would be welcomed. I’m not a tech guy, but I have managed to transfer my email from Gmail to iCloud and really hope I don’t have to transfer it back. 😩 Many thanks in advance!
