  1. I couldn't figure out what category to post this in, but I am looking for some advice. I am pretty new to building sites (have built 5 on squarespace so far) and I want to build out a website that will require... A directory A filter search function Monthly membership Community with social media profiles for each individual member to update as they please Algorithm to see the top performing profiles From what I can see, the members updating their own individual profiles and the algorithm part seems like something squarespace doesn't have the funtionality for without a ton of coding experience. Or am I wrong? I really like using squarespace, it feels very user friendly. I started trying to create a site with the above mentioned capabilities on Word Press, but I am having lots of trouble getting things to work like I want them to and it seems like i have to buy a bunch of additional plug in's to make things work. Can anyone give me some advice? Can I do all of this in squarespace instead?
  2. That's so weird! Maybe I need to clear my cache or something. Thank you
  3. The link has changed: https://karinacoachingdemosite.squarespace.com/ UPDATE The issue seems to be with google chrome browser, because when I use microsoft edge I can see the social links. So what could be the fix for chrome, do you know?
  4. Hi! So my issue is that none of my social links are showing up when I add them to the pages. The links in the header seem to be ok. I will attach a screenshot below for reference. This issue is happening on the past couple of squarespace sites I have been working on. It doesn't matter what page I post them on, they are always invisible. I even tried to check my color settings to make sure they hadn't been switched to the same color as the background but that doesn't seem to be an issue.
  5. Hi! I apologize for the delayed response, I have been busy with life. I don't know what was wrong with the passcode but I made a copy of the site and the passcode is demo123. Please try here https://prism-dinosaur-gfsb.squarespace.com/
  6. oops! Thought I had done that already. You can now view it here with the passcode demo123 https://lizard-cyan-2yrx.squarespace.com/
  7. Here you go, thanks! I ended up placing image blocks of the social icons where links could be attached to them, but I would like to figure out the social link block issue https://lizard-cyan-2yrx.squarespace.com/
  8. Can anyone help me, please? I am trying to add social links to the body of my page. They appear fine in the header. But when I try to add them in the body the block appears but the links seem to be invisible, like the same color as the background? I went into the style editor on my pages color theme and scrolled down to the social link color and changed it and refreshed my page but the links are still invisible. I even tried changing the pages color theme to one of the different ones available and checked the color specifically of the social links on those color themes too but it seems like no matter what color changes or style changes I make I can't get the links to show up.
  9. Has there been an update on a solution for this? I am experiencing the issue too where I am changing the color of my social media block in the theme for my page and even after I change the color and save and then refresh the page it is still invisible. Help!
