Hi -- I've embedded YouTube videos onto a Video page but the thumbnails all have black bars on top and bottom. How do I get rid of these? The custom featured image is grayed out for video links so I can't use that as a workaround.

I have embedded three videos on my site, but there seems to be an amount of padding or margin below all of the videos.
On desktop it is not  much, but on mobile it is quite a lot of padding and messes up the layout. 
Is it possible to remove the padding or margin around the embedded videos?
Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you!

I didn't have this problem previously, but now whenever I use the video box to link to a video, the image crop gets too zoomed in or generally distorted. No matter how I adjust the video box dimensions, the image stays distorted — unless I make it very small, but then there appears two thick black lines.  You can see what I mean in these screenshots. 
It's possible this is happening because the dimensions of the video cover images are too wide, but as you can see in the second image the same was true for the below video and that is showing up fine.

Is it true, we cannot create a video gallery in 7.1 --- but we could in 7.0? I'm not finding a solution right now. 

just ran into this problem  - seriously Squarespace why would you remove such an important function? we had this in 7.0, our entire website is built on this but we opted to upgrade to 7.1 for another function and now it seems our website is screwed. 
This is poor service squarespace. Can you please recommended a new website provider as I am completely over just how useless squarespace has become.

Is there any way to add video to 7.1 gallery sections along with just images? Like you used to be able to do in 7.0?

Having a portfolio of gallery pages with images,  I thought  adding a video in sequence to the images in a gallery would be a no-brainer.
Guess not.
Can't believe this was an option that was dropped. 
 

We'd love a solution to this. Video blocks and video pages won't do the trick for portfolio sites.
