  1. Thank you very much for that code. But not sure what that achieves? It just puts an "O" at the end of the h4 block on that page? (see the page now… after I did this, with "OŌ":) div#block-yui_3_17_2_3_1490284719279_6454 h4:after { content: "OŌ"; } What I want is to change the improperly "bold"/"heavy" formatted Ō (with the macron) to the same font style/weight as the rest of the text there. And more than that, it's not just for the end of a header or any particular text block. I need the font consistency whenever "ERŌ" appears in text on the site. Any other ideas?
  2. Hi. Our brand used the O Macron diacritical mark: ERŌ. The site normal font is Futura PT. However Squarespace changes the O with macron (Ō) to a heavier weighted font style, or maybe a different font altogether. See Site URL, contact page, at bottom. Is there any way to avoid this with the existing font? Even with CSS? Or is there a similar font that won't do that? Thanks!
  3. Thank you. Somehow, this all worked. The test was perfect, it worked immediately. Then adding !important did the trick on the nav hover color, too. The weird this is I had already tried that and it did not work. It's as if "clearing the code" and trying your simple test reset something. Interestingly, the ".header-nav-item" line is not in the page source still. Where does it go?
  4. I am trying to add some very basic CSS to our site. It appears that no CSS is working. I've tried a couple of different things, without it seeming to affect the site at all, either in the preview or on the live site after saving. .header-nav-item a:hover{color:#ED217A} right now it's just the one line above, and it doesn't work. I've previously tried some other minor modifications -- verbatim from sample code found on the web -- and they also didn't work. Searching for "header-nav-item" in the source code of one page has results, but not that line of CSS. Shouldn't it be in the source? Is there a simple test I should do? Is there some kind of switch to enable or disable CSS? What might be wrong?
