The code you are using is a very old version of my code from my guide, How to make some prices POA on Squarespace 7.1. If you take a look at the guide, you'll see that I updated it last year when Squarespace made changes to the page markup. The most recent version should work correctly 🙂

GlassedDev reacted to Enny.nz in Redirect for /search to a different page doens't work, any suggestions?
    Hi team,
As you many know the search function of Squarespace isn't working properly and a lot of content is not found. I've created a page and added a Google search that works much better (we are working on getting the non-profit account setup, so ads will be eliminated). As the page is for disabiity, I wanted to redirect the /search to /search-site, but sadly it's not working. Is there a way we can force a redirect, or am I doing something incorrect?
This is the redirect I've added into the URL mapping page: /search -> /search-site 301
    This is the page: https://www.ccsdisabilityaction.org.nz/
    Any suggestion are hightly appreciated.
    Thank you!!

Hello! I am new to website building and just launched: immunologic.org
I added a search block on a separate unlinked page that the header button redirects to, but no search results appear when using any keywords whatsoever. I reached out to SquareSpace support several times and they keep saying 'our engineers investigate multiple things' but haven't given me any tips at all. If anyone can provide some insight, that would be great.

For context, each of my pages are built on the 'blank template' so I can't add tags directly, but from my understanding, all keywords, titles, etc., *should* be getting indexed and pulled.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Or if someone has a CSS or script that does better than the built-in search, I would happily take that too.

GlassedDev got a reaction from Beyondspace in Solutions for dealing with large numbers of uploaded PDFs/documents, especially since the latest changes to Squarespace's file upload/link UI?
Yes! I thought the previous link editor was stepping us in that direction, was surprised when it went away.
Awh well - thank you for making me feel less alone!

A few months ago, Squarespace went back to the more integrated UI for uploading/searching your uploading files (pdfs, docs, etc) and linking them on a page. The previous, more-independent window of uploaded files, was replaced with a small, more-integrated list (isn't this what it was like in 2019 ish, too? anyway...).
This update/reversion has made it really hard to manage clients' libraries of PDFs, especially as long-loading times + unresponsive UI in the editor now accompany bloated libraries as of this update. Which, in turn, makes it difficult to clean/alleviate the problem, especially in this smaller, more cramped UI.

I filed a ticket, but was hoping someone may have a solution after having a similar experience - this update is kicking my butt.

GlassedDev reacted to paul2009 in Should you backup data such as linked files before updating from 7.0 to 7.1?
When you do an in-place upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 using the automated tool, all linked files remain in place and should not be affected. The keyword here is “should”. I’d always recommend having a back up of your files.
