Trying to add navigation header to every page

Hello - I'm wondering if it's possible to add the nav bar to the top of every page of my site and not just the homepage? Seems like a pretty fundamental part of a website, but I can't work out how to do it... I'm not particularly tech savvy so custom CSS is something I've never tried before. I really need to get the site working correctly as soon as possible! Thanks in advance, Sarah.
