Hello Paul…and thank you for responding. I’ve volunteered to write a basic website for a choir here in North Wales. I am a beginner in all of this! The Home page has two buttons, “English” and “Cymraeg” (Welsh). This is because North Wales has a very large population of people whose first language is Welsh. So. Here’s how my navigation goes so far. Click on “English” to go to the “About/Welcome” page. Click on “Contact” to go to the Form. Bottom of page is the “Home/Cartref” button which returns you to the English “About/Welcome” page. Same goes for the “Gallery” page. So far so good. The same applies to the “Welsh” pages. However, I’ve only just realised that the Logo in the header is clickable. It returns the user to the Homepage. The choir conductor doesn’t want this to happen. He would rather that it returned the user to the “About/Welcome’ page of the appropriate language chosen. I hope this makes sense to you! I don’t know if this is even possible. But, if it isn’t, is it possible to disable the logo going anywhere at all? The website isn’t yet open to the public. It’s password protected. Here’s the URL and password. www.monteverdisingers.org Password: montes2024 Thank you again. Steve

Hello. I'm trying and failing to get the logo on the header to be centrally aligned in the Mobile view. I've set it to central in the edit header dialogue...but it isn't centred. I'm a beginner at all of this so may have made a simple mistake. All advice gratefully received. Thank you.

I have contacted Square Space support. I await their response with interest...though I fear that there is no way to achieve what I want to do. In which case, why on earth is duplicating a website the same as backing it up?

Hello again. Points 1 and 2 I've done. Point 3 I don't understand. Pont 4 I can find no option to make the edited version the live site. There is no "Publish" or "Update" button available. I really don't understand this. I've duplicated the site and edited it. At the bottom of the page it simply says Your trial ends in 14 days. Upgrade now to get the most out of your site. SUBSCRIBE I have two sites with square space that I pay for. If I go to Settings and Domains and try to move the live site to the copied (and edited) site then I am only given the option to move it to my other paid for site...which, obviously, I don't want to do. I really don't understand why Square Space gives me the tool to duplicate my existing website without giving me a straight forward tool to copy the (edited) copied site and make it the live site. What's the point in having a duplicated website? Sorry to moan...and maybe I'm missing something obvious here. But, good grief. It's driving me mad!

Hello. I've just learnt how to duplicate my published square space website so that I can edit the copy. I've edited the copy and now want to make this the live version. I'm finding this hard to do...I find the square space help very confusing. All suggestions gratefully received!

Not yet, I'm afraid. When I have the OK from the choir committee I will do so. Thanks for your help.

Thank you. But, as I said in my original post, I've tried setting a system wide password which has worked...except that when I try to login to the site it just repeats "Please try again". I raised this yesterday with Squarespace via their email contact form and am awaiting a reply.

Thank you for your reply. Can anyone help me with the actual code needed to hide/delete the hamburger on Mobile, please?

Hello. I’m new to Squarespace and website creating. I’ve been creating a site for my local choir using 7.1. It’s been mostly going well. But…I would like to hide the hamburger icon (or, better still, disable it) as it appears on Mobile. I am only using unlinked pages with buttons to the relevant pages (it’s a bilingual site and this version looks better than having the hamburger display a very clunky menu). As far as my searching for an answer to this, all answers appear to require CSS injection. I only have the personal plan and assume that I will need to upgrade to Business plan? If I do so, then am I correct in assuming that I can achieve this with some helpful person’s CSS advice? I cannot publish the site full time right now as I need approval from the choir committee to do so. I have tried to use a sitewide password to get round this. But…it just keeps on asking me to Try Again. I don’t any password protected individual pages and have raised this (just now) via Squarespace email contact. All advice gratefully received!
