I completely agree. I've had similar issues since I've signed up for SP over a year ago. Of course when you remove and add stuff, it's gonna change. But as they say above here, your experience shouldn't happen. The layout should change, not the content. But it doesn't always actually change for the better IRL. I have also given up on this.
