  1. @creedon Thanks for responding - amazingly, the "add lines and spacers and click and drag things randomly around for a while" strategy ended up working and I've muddled through. Days trying to work this out and just fluked it! (Thanks for the advice on site wide password, for my future reference. I'm sure I'll need it at some stage!)
  2. @creedon I tried this, but the text in the block on the right appears before the text in the block on the left when in Mobile view. In desktop view editing, if I hover on the left block it shows it as being full width - I'm guessing something isn't quite set up right. Any thoughts?? I'm about ready to throw the laptop out the window! (I'm very new to this whole SS thing, so I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong and just can't spot it!). Many thanks!
  3. Have updated in the post - thanks for pointing that out. Let me know if any ideas!
  4. Hi all, I want my recipe pages to look something like this: Open with brief description (one column), then have two columns for Ingredients and Method, then back to a single column for further notes below. The two columns are from having a separate text block for Method, however when I go back to single column for "How to Eat this", the block sits below the Ingredients. I've managed to nudge it down by adding additional blank lines under the Ingredients, but this all goes very wrong for mobile. Mobile view shows all in a single column - which is great. However shows method block first, plus has huge blank gap with the extra lines underneath ingredients. Any thoughts on fixes? (Instead of a blog, should I use a different page type?) https://www.uglylittlegherkin.com.au/blog/iai6ru3mtq15dl6oyosry75jchd24p-fkrnx Many thanks
  5. I'm currently in the process of building my site, mostly it's a blog (and as it's my first time building a website of any kind, it's interesting). I built a blog page that I liked and duplicated that to change and use for additional blog entries. Apparently I had put a custom URL on that initial blog page. This custom URL his stuck in the settings for all the duplicate pages - I can't delete it to revert back to allowing SS to automatically crate blog URL. I can change them all manually, but would prefer to avoid that. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've checked all (I think!) the settings twice and can't find a way to remedy this, short of creating a new 'template' page. Thanks. EDIT: I've also been experimenting with creating an entirely new template page. This page allowed SS to automatically create the URL based on the blog title - however, if the title is changed, the URL is NOT updating. Appreciate any thoughts!
  6. Hi - did you ever find a solution to your 'status unavailable'? I have the same error message popping up and can't work it out.
