Hello everyone. I have an idea to link my community to events that happen in my area. I want to create a page on my site where i do not have to upload events and search for them, but have people in the community create events on my page that i can approve or deny that lets the community know about. For example, if there is a motorcycle event i want the public to be able to upload the data and add a picture, time, date and info on that event that will show in a calendar on my page. I have reached out to squarespace and got this response: "At this moment this is not a native feature that we have available however this is a great idea and I will be happy to suggest this to our development team on your behalf. While we can't guarantee implementation of every suggestion, customer feedback is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input. What I can suggest is having a form where visitors can submit information regarding their events and you can set up an event page with these details on your site. Another suggestion I can advise once you have collected this information from your visitors is exploring our Email Campaign feature to create a newsletter with upcoming events in your community. Your site comes with a free trial where you can test out this feature by sending three campaigns for free that don’t expire. To learn more about our free trial and get started with Email Campaigns". Is there a third party website that you know of that i can link to my site that does this? I just don't want to spend time updating and inputting their events and data. I want it to be interactive and have them do it and i approve the submission. I have seen widgets that allow me to create events but i would have to spend time craeting the event and deleting it. Please help with your wisdom and suggestions. Together we can always find a solution.
