  1. I also find the "Blog" section clunky in 7.1. I actually decided to just insert text and image blocks into a blank section instead of using their Blog templates. It's a pain to change the fonts and I have spent forever (unsuccessfully) trying to figure out how to change the date. Compared to the 7.0 blog template and even platforms like Blogger, this is not user friendly at all.
  2. This one that you posted on June 23 also worked for me. Thank you!!!!! So so much. 🥳
  3. Can someone help provide a code to enter into Custom CSS that overrides the Aspect Ratio in the Grid Simple layout in the Image blocks in 7.1? Help! The workaround is super tedious and I do not want to use the Grid Strips layout. Anyone have a code that currently works to override this and allows the images to remain true to size in the main portfolio page in your navigation sections? Do I need to remove code that Squarespace has put into place before I can add one that overrides this? The goal is: I want to use Grid Simple in my 7.1 Image block in my navigation pages (they're a portfolio) but I don't want it cropping any of my images in the main portfolio view.
  4. Can someone help provide a code to enter into Custom CSS that overrides the Aspect Ratio in the Grid Simple layout in the Image blocks? Help! The workaround is tedious and I do not want to use the Grid Strips layout. For some reason, none of Tuanphan's codes have worked for me in their other suggestions in other forum areas. Anyone else have a code that currently works? Do I also need to remove code that Squarespace has put into place before I can add one that overrides this? The goal is: I want to use Grid Simple but I don't want it cropping any of my images in the main portfolio view page.
  5. Agreed. I've spent over an hour now just researching how to remove the Aspect Ratio feature instead of being able to create my site. Who thought that this was a great feature and didn't include the option to create a custom aspect ratio on your Image Gallery's main page?
  6. I am also having this issue. I'm already deep into creating a site on 7.1 and don't want to have to start all over again with another template. I'm using this for a portfolio of artwork and do not want my images cropped to the same exact size on my gallery page. The "Images" block only allows me to edit the aspect ration on the individual image and not on my gallery page. So when you go to my site in this category, everything is cropped. I need all images to be a custom ratio or to remove the aspect ratio all together. How do I do this? Beyond annoying. None of these codes mentioned above work when I copy them into Custom CSS
